@suspendmeassholes quite simple really, berba was on a good scoring run, scoring somthing like 8 in 8 starts, but then he started to get droped for a 4-5-1 at unnecessary occasions, then the hammer blow came when he got droped for a clearly unfit rooney in the bayern game (ferguson also stated that he'd start berba in this game beforehand) this ultimatly ruined his cofidance, as it would most players, and is why, under huge pressure he performed poorly in the chelsea and b burn matches.

That's a little naive; Look at the stats for assists for last season and this. Also Rooney would not have all these goals without the genius of berbatov - Rooney's more confident knowing he has berba along side him and I think when you see the big games left this season - you'll see how important he is to your team.
