  • WHAT YOU DO TO GLORIOUS MOSIN NAGANT RIFLE?! ADD STUPID BUTTSTOCK?! ADD STUPID MUZZLE BREAK?! PISTOL GRIP?! YOU MAKE RIFLE OF AWFUL GAY AND FAGGOTS! HOW I SUPPOSED TO KILL CHECHEN WITH RIFLE MADE UGLY BY FASCIST PIGS? YOU ADD SAFETY? SAFETY IS NOT PULL TRIGGER WHEN CHECHEN NOT IN SIGHTS! PAINT GLORIOUS 91/30 BLACK?! AND NOT EVEN FULL BLACK! IT LOOK LIKE MICHAEL JORDAN PENIS WITH RABIES! YOU BREAK OFF BARREL, REMOVE BAYONET? HOW I SUPPOSED TO SODOMIZE CHECHEN ACROSS RIVER WITHOUT BAYONET?!

  • what manufacturers folding stock did you use on the rifle

  • LOL there so many pissed at this.

  • Mosins are like ass holes every one has one think you Russia for helping ARM Americans who previously couldn't afford a high power rifle have one and besides that they kick ass and are a hell of a lot of fun to shoot

  • Great innovative creation from parts laying around the shop. While the Mosin Nagant is a part of history and you have made modifications you do so with respect to the weapon and its linage of historical importance and knowing that it does make history and will continue to do so. Thanks for posting and sharing. Some creative thinking, some money, and while its Fugly its beauty to the beholder.

  • I bet that is one loud mf.

  • I love it, if you think moding nagants is a sin then go buy them all and shut the fuck up! By the way where can I get that scope mount and brake?

  • Gotta love spray-paint.

  • Ouch... someone put that thing out of its misery....

  • that thing is an abomination

  • My first rifle was a mosin nagant M44 carbine and i love it but i wouldnt do something like this to such a beautiful rifle!

  • thats awesome!

  • Some people get so bent out of shape that it is kinda funny. People, 37 million made, that is a big number, and it leaves plenty for people to tinker with.

  • wow, what a shame to ruin an otherwise nice rifle...

  • Simple question.....WHY!?

  • Vasily Zaitsev didn't need a tactical scope or pistol grip to hunt wolves in the Urals.

    This. Is. Disgusting.

  • I just got my first mosin today and I have no plans to do anything to it other than stain it possibly a dark (almost black) cherry wood color. What a beast this thing is! I love it!

  • Ugh... I hate it when they do this to a perfectly fine weapon...

  • how long is that barrel? looks like an SBR..

  • I know there are lots of them I have a 1925 ex dragoon I want to get another and put s boyds stock on it and turn it into a precision sniper rifle but you ruined that

  • mosins are a way to test, and make your own i guess...but if it was a m1, i'd find you, and beat you with the firewood off the gun

  • lol you assholes and putting rails on everything now

  • rifle = wood and metal

  • just wat i want for room cqb

  • I just laugh when people say mosins are a "part of history". It's a tool. Nothing about this rifle was ever for beauties' sake. It has no luxuries. It's a kill stick that the Russians spat out to put a rifle into everyone's hands. For a hundred bucks why not fuck around with it? The guy had a little bit of cheap fun and everyone's bitching and moaning.

  • @Relyt345 "kill stick" LOL

  • @Relyt345 Opinions are like assholes...

  • @koolaidman007 everyones got one...

  • @Relyt345 Well said. They are history, but there are so damn many of them, why not have a little fun with one? I have an original 1929 nagant that I'm leaving alone. My next will be a cheap $80 piece that I intend to mess with - new stock, trigger, etc. My gun, my money, who cares what others say!

  • @Relyt345 would you feel the same way if someone chopped down and tapco fucked an m1 garand? how about a winchester lever action? or a springfield 1903. hey you know i bet my 1863 musket could use a quad rail super 1337 laser sighting system and polymer stock..... NOT.

it may be in good fun, but adding this junk on your gun doesnt make it less "ugly" some ppl have this thing called good taste. if you think this gun is attractive or tactical, you are tacticool and have none.

  • @yourredcomrade717 I think the gun looks badass in an anachronistic kind of way, but I think somebody should bring a tacticool 1863 musket to a Civil War reenactment just for shits and giggles :)

  • @yourredcomrade717 It's his freaking gun. He can do whatever the hell he wants to with it. You don't like it? Cool. I'm sure he doesn't care because you didn't put a dime into it.....

  • @tignorjt The problem is that if everyone did this to their rifles then the price of a non-bubba'd Mosin Nagant would rise.

I'm not against his retarded modifications, I'm just baffled that he actually said it was a nice cheap scout rifle. With that barrel he won't take any advantage of the caliber he is shooting and I am not sure if that muzzle will prevent it from being a flamethrower.

  • @Relyt345 couldnt agree more. kill stick meet 21st century. seems like it would be a cheap way for someone interested in gunsmithing to practice working on guns without worrying about ruining an expensive rifle

  • Where'd you get that muzzel break?

  • It wasn't fugly until you got a hold of it.

  • what kind of scope is that

  • I'm currently modding a Hungarian M - 44. Not a collector's piece by any means. I'm taking the bayonet lug off. It's proving to be a bitch.

  • you can make an m1 use mgazines make an m14 an ebr but this is shit truely ruined that gun was ruined by an idiot who doesnt kno what history is and dont call me an asshole its my opinion

  • Very Nice

  • heres one example were "tacticooling" a gun is a bad idea imo.

  • Interesting.

  • wow thats one ugly mosin

  • @floopydudeProduction they r all ptty ugly ,

  • did you put a fatter barrel on it?

  • This is is a disgrace. :/

  • @w3ath3rby agreed.

  • what scope is that?

  • thats pretty neat. I've always wanted to do that.

  • I love a modern spin on an old workhorse :)

    Love it !

  • Id like to get a breakdown of the parts needed. Thank You

  • There were approximately 17,000,000 Mosin-Nagant rifles made from the first 1891 model

  • MUST HAVE!

  • I still want to know how he attached that pist grip to that stock!

  • Also to the troll who called the 91/30 a "mod" it turns out the 91/30 became the conversion standard for all the 91s. Becoming standard is not a modified rifle. There is a significant difference between experimental service rifles becoming standardized (or not) and what garage gunsmith Bubba puts together.

  • For those who dont know, when the USSR and Yugoslavia collapsed, the SKS was the first rifle to make it over in bulk. They went for 75-100 like the Mosins. Some people Bubba'd them up, but those who didn't are now holding a rifle selling for $400 on the racks today. These are going up in value partially thanks to "modders" so regarding the 3 I've got, thanks for screwing yours up.

  • @mpzreb17 Look under your couch. Find the loose change. Go buy the rifle.

  • @ShaiqNBaiq5464 No need to collect the change. If you dig deep enough you'll probably find a Mosin-Nagant under your couch cushions.

  • @drewdane40 LOL Shoot....with so many made how could you not.

  • It's sick what some people think is cool to do to a piece of history and an old reliable war horse. If you put that Mosin back together original, I will pay you $250 for it. In fact, to all of you bubba's out there who "sporterize" your Mosins, if you can put it back together the way you got it, my offer stands. These rifles need rescued. (Offering that was actually a backhanded point. If you'd keep it as it is and notice what happened with the SKS' in the 90s, you realize 100 is an investment)

  • Was trying to say cool mod. by the way- and to all the purists- i've been a Mosin- yes the original was great , but this mod. Is creative- art- if we were all alike- like you- and all had the original- unmodified-how freekin' boring and lifeless

  • To Iraqveteran 8888-1st- thank you for your service- in the military-2nd- ol mod.- I want to put a pistol grip on the original wood stock of my Norinco SKS- how did you mount that one

  • Ewww....

  • I think it was worth a shot - man there are a lot of haters on here! It is their damn gun... it's called "custom" and the idea is to come up with something new. Well there certainly are alot of boring mother f#%&^*&s out there so who gives a shit either way.

  • Why do fat americans like you look at a perfectly fine Russian Mosin Nagant and think "NO. THIS NEEDS MORE STUPID PLASTIC SHIT"?

General Mosin and his comrade Nagant are both rolling in their graves because of your fucking mutilation of a beautiful piece of history. May you rot in hell.

  • @MooseHeadMoosic I wouldn't call the Nagant beautiful haha.

  • abomination....

  • the stock should fold the other way so you could work the bolt when it is folded

  • nice mod, if we have those here in our country, i'll get 5 then customize all of it, i like the mod he made but the folding stock and pistol grip is not for me, barrel length and scout scope is nice enough for me

  • Why not modify it? 1. It's the decision of the owner. 2. So today it's cool to mount all kinds of crap to an AR, but in 50 years it's not?

    BTW Nice Mosin.

  • I think it's neat when people modify their guns to something they truly enjoy. At least this rifle is getting good use :)

  • Whats the muzzle velocity?

  • Ww2 mixed with modern? I mean nice work but it's not right haha

  • Nice job, it's your gun do what you want with it!

  • May not be the prettiest girl at the dance, but she sure likes to party! I'd love to see you guys make a "shade tree mechanic" video. All your tools are cool, but the average guy may not, and probably doesn't, have the types of tools you have. I get and fully appreciate the "right tool" concept", but if you didn't have them, what would work in lieu of....? You know what I mean? I used a hacksaw, file, piece of angle iron, a grinding stone & sandpaper. Turned out nice, just need my scout scope.

  • Manufactured in 1891 and modified in 1930. (91/30)It has been used in both World Wars,Korean War,Nam and in numerous other conflicts. It's funny though,so many were made and most dropped at least once.

  • Ugly gun, who heard of a close quarter sniper? I can see lightening up the 8.5 lbs by a fiber resin stock, cutting the berral down 3.5 inches and installing a flash suppresor, modified bolt and a nice scope to round it out but to each his own.

  • Why do all the Bubbas have this burning need to chop the barrels down? All it can do is hurt accuracy.

  • @thegandog56 Thats not entirely true. It will effect range but if they live in an area that is very wooded they wont be making 800 yard shots so they dont need 28 inches of barrel. I did the same to mine. It is also easier to move around in thick woods. If you put a nice crown back on the muzzle after chopping a lot of times the accuracy improves because the barrel does not whip as much.

  • That thing is ugly as balls but loud as fuck

  • I kinda like it, it is ugly but kinda cool at the same time.

I might do own similar as a "truck gun"

  • what kind of muzzle break are u using?

  • coke nose

  • Put scope on a sniper rifle.

Cut 8 inches off the barrel.

    All my whats.

  • i threw up in my mouth a lil bit

  • To the people crying about sporterizing thes guns, 1 there are millions of them out there, there is a real good reason they are 100 bucks and that is the russians made so damned many of them. 2 the 91/30 is itself a modification. The military modifies mil surp rifles all of the time. Look at the M14 and all of its variants. If you want to make your gun do something different you should do it.

  • @CitrusLizard there are things that you should NEVER modify

  • @MrDip02 If it had value then you shouldn't modify it, but there are just soo many of them that the value probably increases with modification.

  • @CitrusLizard one million non sportzerised ones for now. we'll see which ones are worth more in 50 years

  • @CitrusLizard see i don't care as long as they know about it is it rare or not where it's made what's the date unless it's those storage ones i don't care and as long as they actually do a good job looks like he just sharpies the stock cut it and added some shit hole foldable stock

  • @MrDip02 Not everyone is an artist.

  • @CitrusLizard

People can do what they want. But in my opinion and everyone has one I know. Making these things into tactical rifles is very Joe Bubba. Its stupid to the extreme. If you want an AR or an AK get one. If you want a nice piece of history or a truck gun that is affordable get the Nagant. But again thats just my opinion.

  • @CitrusLizard That's what people said about Enfields. Good luck getting one now in decent condition and un-bubba'd under 1000 dollars. And let me list all of the M14 variants; M14, M1A... What was your point? Can't get a military variant without a class 3 permit and the civilian variants are reproductions. The way I see it, don't get a piece of history so you can mutilate it and spend more on modifications and parts than the gun itself.

  • @ScreamingRebel94 I say it's your gun/money you do what you want with it....I like when people modify and abuse old guns. It only helps increase the value of my UN-molested firearms. :)

  • @ScreamingRebel94 Piece of history eh? You want to know why the Enfield is more difficult to come by? I'll give you a hint, they didn't come close to the production number. You want to find a real piece of history mosin? Go find the ones made in the U.S. by Remington prior to the Communist revolution in Russia. The funny thing though is those were all modified aswell because Americans wanted 30-06's not 7.62x54's.

  • @CitrusLizard My point is if we keep saying "so what, there's millions of them" then there WON'T be millions of them.

  • @ScreamingRebel94 not everyone can afford to modify their rifles and some just dont want to so many will still be left the same besides maybe refinishing

  • OH GOD WHY COMRADE WHY ?

  • Dear god, why would you destroy a great gun like that? You should be pistol whipped for destroying that gun.

  • realy sad that you would do that to a C and R rifle...you shit on the history and purpose of that weopon by puting that tacticool bs on it.i can understand sporting conversions if it compliments the weopon but this is shit.

  • @mrantihippie - WHAAAA crying over someone else's rifle. The rifle may have had an original purpose . Its purpose has long since past. Now it is serving his purpose, whether that be thick woods hunting, or maybe he lives way out in the country and wanted to use his mosin for home def. So he cut the barrel so he could better maneuver in his home. There could be all kinds of reasons why he went and did it.

  • Next time, put a Trijicon reflex sight on a Hi-Point.

  • "And it comes with a safety",like Mosin didnt have safety before.

  • @urungutang If you call that a safety...

Like saying the TT-33 has a safety.

  • dont do that

  • That is the ugliest damn rifle I have seen in my life.

  • Whatd that pistol grip come off of?

  • @justinlhtx it is a tapco SAW

  • @justinlhtx ak tapco grip i beleive

  • congrats nice job just little odd to do to a mosin but still holds some merit

  • what a dogs breakfast this guy has got and he thinks its cool. what a joke

  • hmm. i guess adding a muzzle brake wouldnt be so bad.

  • Alright, who the Hell invited Bubba over?

  • You know, I kinda' like it. I'd like to know how the cheek weld is.

It would be useful around here for toting in the woods for use against coyotes and wild dogs.

I'm of the opinion that you do what you want to your own property. My Mosin is cork bedded and has one of my sights on it. First glance it looks stock but is more than capable of sub-MOA groups at 100 meters -- much better than I can usually shoot it.

    Regards,

    Josh Smith

    Smith-Sights

  • At least they admit that it is ugly. Only a small fraction of Enfields were ever made, TONs were sporterized or de-miled and you can still get unmolested examples for under 300 bucks.

  • Hideous

  • i usually like your sporterised mosins but this is just a sin to do to this kind of rifle

  • how do you like that timney trigger. i just heard about it on this vid and am thinking of getting one for my scout project.

  • I whant one

  • LMAO yall do realize that this is like a $90 rifle that your whining about & that there are thousands of them every where! their not really all that rare you know! you mise well have fun with a few of them!!

  • @tofastvr4 They won't be $90 forever. They aren't exactly making the things anymore. SKS's used to sell for like $100. Look at the prices now. U.S. surplus Krag rifles were once very cheap and plentiful and tons of people chopped them up for use as hunting rifles. Nowadays intact ones are expensive and desirable.

The best example though is the Mosin M44. Used to be $100 or less very recently. Now aimsurplus has them for $200 and jgsales wants $279. This WILL happen with the M91/30 with time.

  • pray to god, for I don't see you in the street.

becouse if it happens you go to the hospital.

  • You hit it right on the dot with the name.. "Fugly" lol

All in all it is funny to look at and cool at the same time.. You made it yours.. lol

  • I think i just threw up in my mouth, what an abomination

  • Really neat conversion--I would like to know how the folding stock and rail

    were installed. Great job!

  • god that thing looks stupid

  • Oh dear god, what have you done to this glorious rifle.

  • ugly - you destroyed a very nice gun.

  • I don't mean to sound like an ass, but you destroyed a beautiful rifle those are actual rifles off the battle fields (most of them) i would never do that to mine.

  • If you tacticalize/sporterize a military surplus firearm you are destroying a piece of history and it would be like repainting the Mona Lisa.

  • @NRA4ever1399 Except the Mosin Nagant is $100 and a dirt cheap shooter.

It's not the Mona Lisa. It's more like destroying a cinderblock, or a plank of wood. It won't be missed out of the 20+ million made.

    Looks better than before.

  • @SecuR0M Looks better than before? You are a fucking idiot and i hope to christ you are trolling.

  • @jth10182 I think it does too. The Nagant is an awkwardly long, ugly gun.

  • @NRA4ever1399 Except if Da Vinci painted 20 million Mona Lisas.

  • @residentevil4freek Each one would be as beautiful and special as the others.

  • @NRA4ever1399 not really, there's millions of mosins out there, so it's not like you have to keep every single one original

  • @aracaen I respect historic pieces.

  • @NRA4ever1399 the mosin nagant 91/30 is no Mona Lisa. That is all.

  • @salmonking007 Then you dont respect military surplus rifles.

  • @NRA4ever1399 The Mona Lisa is unique because there aren't millions of them. Putting a mosin in a boyds stock isn't a sin, and if you really think that way, you shouldn't shoot any of your mil surps; they'll last longer and retain their value better.

Currently, I'm in the process of converting an abandoned mosin 91/30 barreled receiver with a broken front sight and was stripped for parts. There's no shame in giving an old rifle new life.

  • @salmonking007 If you use original parts to fix up a military surplus rifle that is ok but the stuff that this guy did to a great rifle is disgusting.

  • @NRA4ever1399 lol it's going in a Boyd's stock, I'm planning on removing the rear sight for the dovetail (going for a scout scope setup), and the barrel will be cut and re-crowned because the front sight mount is broken.

There's no problem taking a gun that no one wants, and turning it into one that you can appreciate. His gun is pretty laughable, but I don't think he set out to make it a serious rifle.

  • @salmonking007 What you are doing doesn't seem too bad but it is much more respectable than what this guy did to his rifle. I prefer to keep mil surp rifles the way they were designed. I don't agree with what you are doing with the scope mount and you should only use replica parts if you need new parts.

  • Yes he destroyed a good gun, theres alot more of them, its HIS gun NOT yours so QUIT BITCHING.

  • why ruin such a beautiful gun?

  • What is the point of doing this? I dont care what your answer is actually because its POINTLESS.

  • " Looks like Bubba got ahold of that one"

  • Really disappointing... all that work an no 30+ rnd Mag??

  • bet you california is gonna call that an assault rifle

  • @koolguy2211 Collapsible Folding stock... you bet your ass a lot of states will (Yeah I'm Bitter, I'm from Massachusetts)

  • Russia's new reserve rifle...

  • That is the ugliest fucking rifle that I have ever seen, WHY???

  • its ugly

  • Yep, he said it all, $350 worth of parts on a $100 gun. And I bet it shot better before he butchered it.

  • @thegandog56 yeah and as he said it was all parts just laying around the shop so really no loss.

  • why???????????

  • How to ruin mosin nagant ask Iraq veteran

  • I want one

  • You ruined a piece of history... Good thing there are millions of them

  • Mannyunseen yes

  • dude... no

  • When i do get my hands on a Mosin i'd like to get my hands on one of those muzzle breaks and lob the barrel down to 16 to 20 inches, where can i find that?

  • he truned a nice rifle to a quir

  • Nice work Iraq... this gun is one of a kajillion that were produced, so nothing historic about that. You've made a nice gun that I would carry on my ATV anytime. I dig function over anything and really dig that ugly brake up front. How good does it work on that short barrel?

  • Slap a M203 on that Sum-Bitch and now you got a Tacti-Cool Rifle!

  • sad, very sad.

    useless, impractical and stupid.

  • Why.. Why.. Why did you distroy a beautiul gun?! It now looks like a 90 year old stripper

  • @bamwargasm997 Thats funny. I used stripper to clean off the 90 year old grime on mine. Restaining my mosin earth green.

  • thats the worst thing done to a mosin ive seen yet
