Just want to say that I brought your course and find that it is very informative. And I hope you don't mind if I tell you that what I love about this course the most is "Your Jokes" they really make my blues go away at the end of the day. Lasty please don't make "pattern piano" an endangered species.
This sounds great, I just don't find the next video in this course. How does it work? Do you have some random free videos on YT and the rest in courses on your site? Thanks!
This video is great. Very easy to understand. I am just learning and can play this and its sounding pretty good. Blues was what I was looking for. Thank you. Going on to lesson 4 now.
wow very nice i can play blues now lol! but i think u gotta learn a bit of music theory to understand the whole thing. Very well explained, very simple
Hi pjtvm - thanks for your kind words. You're actually right on the money - the C-Bb is a minor 7th interval. As you mentioned, it can be used as the root and 7th to form a V7 chord (Dominant 7th), and can then also be used in other locations (IV, V of V) to form Dominant 7th chords. Dig those theory teachers!
Yes, but isn't C-Bb a minor 7th? Or is it also called a Dominant seventh? I used to believe the same thing as u until i argued with my theory teacher.. :) Btw, really nice work!

I think that a dominant seventh is a V7 chord, not the blues note of a scale.
