  • Not one of the best series that Ben was in, very cheesy, his better work was in his later years. Buy still good to see.

  • Yea, that Katherine Crawford is quite a gal.

  • Just do not see why they place a limit on it.

  • Great show, great adaptation of an old concept, it faired well in Italy.

  • Yes, I loved it when MST3K did those horribly re-edited episodes entitled "Riding with Death". One of their best!!

  • William Sylvester was in this? I recognise him now only after 40 yrs later lol. Digital watches were the beez kneez in those days - that they even made a tv series around one! ;) (i seem to remember more high pitched button-pressing beeps in the theme music however for some reason. Ahh i miss the beeps! :( ,

  • Holly Cow I remember watching this as a kid.

Cool I forgot all about this show.Kool

  • I remember this show, youtube is brilliant.

  • Starring Ben Murphy as Gemini Man, Katherine Crawford as Snake Man, and William Sylvester as Hard Man.

  • Great show. We had some great tv then. Great childhood memories...

  • Great retro theme song. They just knew how to do it back then.

  • Starring Ben Murphy as.... Gay Cowboy Man.

  • @Gzarnanplat Now that's funny.

  • "Leave Robert Denby alone!"

  • Shit, i loved this when I was a kid, had a massive crush on Ben Murphy! so funny to see this again after all these years...

  • They don't make em like this anymore. Shame. I remember this one, but not the theme tune!

  • He may be invisible, but I can still hear those bell bottoms flapping together when he runs. Ha

  • This was a fantastic series what happened to Ben Murphy was'nt he in a western series as well?

  • @Damoskinos Yes, Ben Murphy was in 'Alias Smith and Jones'. Someone posted on YouTube that Murphy was a semi-pro tennis player and when Gemini Man was cancelled he was okay about it and set out to turn pro at tennis.

  • Minha infancia, obrigado pelo otimo video.

  • I was a huge Ben Murphy fan as a teenager so I watched every episode of this show!

  • how long did this one last?

  • @snoopydance71 13 episodes!

  • Um...Six Million Dollar Man anyone??

  • Never exceed?

  • @JohnnyDizm Never exceed 1 hour. That was why he had the funky digital watch, to turn on and off his invisibility but if he stayed invisible for more than an hour (in any 24? Can't remember), he would die. Just to give it game balance, y'know. I used to watch this avidly when I was a kid, had a real crush on Ben Murphy's amazingly blue eyes, from his days in Alias Smith and Jones.

  • @JohnnyDizm his 15 minute time limit

  • Qué recuerdos de bellos tiempos. Esta serie era programada a las 8 PM, por el canal 5 de México.

  • YOU GOT

    GEMINI LASER

  • I loved the mst3k of this show lol

  • I remember this too ! So nice ... Thanks for uploading it !

  • WOW! I was very young, maybe 10 or something, when I watched it. I still remember the 'magic watch' that would take the guy elsewhere witin the snapping of fingers.

  • Wow that really looks awful.

Maybe so bad it would make great entertainment

  • Darn, I remember watching reruns of this during my early childhood in the mid eighties.

  • Great tv serie!! Very nice video!!

  • Ah How I hope this watch for me... to get out the classes, the job, etc...

  • the invisible man with david mccallum

    is what I liked

  • Ben Murphy was very cute! I loved him in Alias Smith & Jones.

  • The best episode was called 'Minotaur'. It had Sam Casey ( Ben Murphy ) trapped in a maze with a robot.

  • I remember this, loved it, Can I buy it on dvd?

  • @terjeogeva Yes you can.

  • This was my favorite show back in 1976!

  • misfits of science my fav too.

  • Its pretty obivious that these types of shows were trying to copy the cache of the very popular Six Million Dollar Man. I remember this when I was a kid. Loved it at the time. As I look back on it now...there was nothing really unique about it. The 70's were a decade of Super Heros in primetime:

    The Six Million Dollar Man

    Spiderman

    The Incredible Hulk

    Captain America

    Man from Atlantis

The Invisible Man...to name a few!!

  • there was no digital watch available when this show was in the TV.

  • Sorry next time do your research the first mass produced digital watch was made in 1969 it was the Seiko 35 SQ Astron.

  • Sorry mate I don't need do any research.

I was born in Brazil not US or Japan. The fist time I saw digital watch was around 78 or 79, the same time when Gemini man was in the TV.

  • Yes there was, I had one

  • Wrong.

  • Great fun for the ten year old I was back then.

  • Careful with the tripolydine

  • I dropped REALLY lucky this morning,....I went to our local market,..and yes,...even though they are copies (perfect copies) I got the complete set one for £5.00 ($8.20) INCLUDING the pilot film, and also The Man from Atlantis complete set for the same price.Thats put me in a good mood for the day ;-)

  • I believe the pilot was titled Code Name:Minus One. Does anyone know where I could find a copy, I checked the Cinematic Armageddon reference below, but had no luck.

  • That guy was as elusive as Robert Denby.

  • If you look around (hint: CINEMAtic armaGEDDON) you'll find both "The Gemini Man" (the pilot) and "Riding With Death" (the non-MST3K version).

  • this was my favourite show at the time. he could only stay invisible for 15 minutes at a time. digital watches were just coming on the scene then, and this show was the best advertising they got. ben murphy was prior to that in a show called alias smith and jones about 2 'butch and sundance' type cowboys

  • Never saw this, looks a good show but his acting is terribly transparent.

  • thanks for posting - Ben Murphy really was my dreamboat back then.

  • i have the french intro of this serie in my page :)

  • NEVER EXCEED 15 MINUTES

  • why did this brilliant series disappear from our screens?

  • I bet it had something to do with Robert Denby!

  • NBC had high hopes. Unfortunately hursdays which were dominated by "The Waltons" on CBS and two ABC sitcoms "Barney MIller" and "Welcome Back, Kotter". It led to low ratings and NBC was forced to cancel the show.

  • thanks for that afrosheen5776, ir really was a great series, dont make them like this anymore. also i loved the invisible man with david mccallum.

  • "Lucky guy...he's about to find out I'm Ben Murphy."

  • NEVER EXCEED

  • i loved this as a young boy ..i even had the watch but it dident make me invisible haha

  • Cupcake! Buffalo Bill! Mellow those turkeys out and bring me the elusive Robert Denby!

  • Come on!!! They couldn't even do the predator effect in that show!!! the technoillgy was out back then..but this!! I can to that effect with my phone!!!

  • I loved this show as a kid - thanks

  • it's amazing how you can take the new invention of an lcd watch and incorperate it into an action series, lets see you do that with an ipod!!

we had one kid in school with a red led watch and we plagued him to press the button so the red time came up, COOL!

This was so much like the six million dollar man in it's presentation.

even now i have to have the coolest gadget watch, gemini you have a lot to answer for! ha ha, time's running out got to rematerialise, 3, 2, 1 !!!

so sad am i at 42

  • What a great show this was. I remember we used to play this at school, with those red digital watches we had, where you had to press the button to see the time lol!!!

  • In High School in the 70's my best friend and I did a spoof of this where only the guy's watch dissapeared!

  • Please bring this out on DVD.

  • i wanned a watch like that !

  • He just needs the Gemini Laser!

  • stupendooooooooooooooooooo e chi nn può nnricordare l'uomo invisibile!!!!!!!!!!!!Quanti ricordi quei mitici anni80!!!!

  • What I could never figure out...Universal did this show the season before, as The Invisible Man, and it TANKED!! So why try it again? It was a bigger flop the second time around.

Katherine Crawford was married to Frank Price, who was running Universal at the time. That's how she probably landed this role.

  • I loved Ben Murphy on Alias Smith and Jones I love him on this into even though I don't remember the show much.

  • Oh boy, the 70s, meeeemories.....,

I cant believe I watched so much TV in the 70s 80s, even though the FX were not as good as today, I like the 70s shows better still, some people here will know what I mean, but I would never watch any old TV again,

  • i used to LOVE this show when i was a child. i loved that jacket ben murphy used to wear and i had a gemini colouring book too!!! happy days

  • Mammaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa quanti ricordiiii ero un 12enne forse quanto era bello sognare con questi telefilm!!!! Ahhhhh gli anni 80:)

  • Great series Patrick Duffy was great in Falcon Crest

  • ROFL !!!!

  • grat show, pity they dont repeat it anymore.

  • OK, if you want a treat look up "Riding with Death" under MST3K. Trust me, you will not be sorry.

Just remember, Death doesn't pony up for gas.

  • I didn't realize it at the time, but The man who plays his 'M' is William Sylvester, 'Heywood Floyd' from 2001.

  • scheisse

  • Thank you a lot, you allowed me to restore this opening in may lost memory area... :-)

  • Thanks for the memory, I loved this show back when I was a kid.

  • This must be one of the first episodes of the only season that it aired.. however I remember in later episodes that during the opening credits.. whenever he clicked his watch it BEEPED !!

    Thanks for posting.. Excellent !!

  • If I dressed like that, I'd want to be invisible too!

  • God, I actually remember this show. There was on episode where he was in a fogged-up shower fighting his double. Then later in the season, I saw the same scenario on an episode of the Bionic Woman...I dont know who ripped off whom first!

  • back to the 70s, this idea was used aslo used in Mannix, Hunter (1977)... a lot of evil doubles in tv series from these goog old days...

  • Yeah.. I remember that too.. but it was more than just a similar story it was close as could be an absolute carbon copy .. even to the point of scene setups etc.

Both series were produced at Universal weren't they ?

    Good Pickup !!

  • quality tv show . ive got them all on disc.

  • I haven't seen Ben Murphy for ages...

  • These 70s shows were kinda cool, but I see one problem here....

If he's invisible... and the watch is invisible... then how does he know when he's out of time?

  • I guess the same way a blind man knows when he's finished wiping his ass! He just knows. LOLOL

  • The pilot movie sometimes runs under the title "Code Name Minus One", which was the code name they gave him before they changed the series title to "Gemini Man". Better theme on the pilot, too!

  • does anyone know where i could get this series, loved it as a kid, please!!!!!

  • Dig the bell-bottom jeans

  • Lee Holdrige was composed this good theme, nbo doubts about it, but the strange is than the original pilot for the series had a good soundtrack too composed by the great BILLY GOLDENBERG (Kojak theme, Rhoda). It'll interesting to see the music from the original pilot too here in You-Tube.

  • Q época maravilhosa!! Me emocionei! Eu era o Gemini Man...rs Poxa, agradeço e parabenizo o autor deste vídeo!

  • Me encantaría responderte en portugués pero por el momento no he aprendido :) Gracias por tu comentario Moito brigado??

  • @fabster3333 Wow , you speak Portuguese very well , I´m sure " lusou1973" appreciates your effort in trying to answer his comment .

  • Oh my gosh!!!!! I loved this show!! I "borrowed" my Dad's digital watch and pretended I was the Gemini Man, man those were the days!!!

  • good times, good times

  • Thanks very much for uploading this....I remember it...had to do a goggle search for the name.... Gemini Man!

I really wanted to be him with that watch!

  • Oh boy... found I'd scrawled on a piece of paper 'Gemini Man'... when I happened upon it... I knew I'd written it when half asleep... & I knew it was a 'look up' note for youtube... when I was seven or eight, I wanted THAT power... oh, the adventures I'd have...

I've a vague memory of hoping I'd be in an accident while working on a secret government project...

  • Wow! I haven't seen this show since I was a kid! Loved it. Thanks for posting. petitiononline [dot]com/TFJDVD for The Fantastic Journey on DVD.

  • Thanks for the stroll down memory lane!! I was looking for Gemini Man and found so much more. I had forgotten about some of those oldies. Wish I could go back in time!! :)

  • i miss shows like this. when you grew up as a kid in the 1970's tv seems rubbish by comparison. it was full of programmes like the gemini man. i seem to remember the watch made a bleeping noise when he pressed it. digintsl watches had only just come out at the time.thanks for posting.

  • this series were aired same time when digital wrist watch was introduce. I remembered buying a pen with digital watch built-in.

  • i remember owning my very own gm watch as a kid

  • Touch me, Ben Murphy!

  • Great show! Shame it didn't last

  • I've been looking for this for the longest time, way to go Fabster, keep them coming!

  • Me & my girl we love each other.
