i remember one time we were about to turn the tide in a game against the ruskies, when we were we authorized WMDs. we figured we'd hang on to it as to not let them use theirs. I then tasked one of my units to secure the middle ground which would have put the fight in our favor. "unit 4 secure delta" i ordered. the reply was "roger that, WMD initiated." i blew the last of our own units straight to hell...

Funny story regarding the WMD. I was playing against some Euro in Paris and we went into DEFCON.He surrounded me on his landing zone. Then i got the great idea of being like the general in the announcement trailer. I called a Kinetic Strike on my last unit. When it hit my command vehicle miraculously survived and i mannaged to disable all of his remaing units 2. The evac. helies came but since we were on his side his guys got evaced 1st before mine did so i ended up winning.I rofled so hard!

Russia: Nuke. A.K.A. Big beautiful boom.

Europeans: Laser strike. A.K.A....it's like the GDI superweapon on Command and Conquer 3. Also cool looking.

I love assault. Once I had no reserves left, no available mission supports, and my last, heavily decimated squad of riflemen garrisoned inside a building and fighting the last enemy unit: a gunships flight. I thought I was dead, but I got authorization to use a nuke and i blasted the bastards right out of the sky, it was pretty cool :D

Japan does have an army except it's called the "Japanese Self Defense Force" and after the second world war Japan was forbidden to attack another country so it's only used for defending the mainland.

defcon is definitely one of my favorite aspects of this game, since it can completely change the course of the game. For example, today i was playing someone who was completely owning me (especially with his artillery). he secured 5 uplinks, so I crashed one, and nuked 8 units which where beside one of his uplinks. 2 transports, 2 tanks, 2 artillery vehicles, 1 gunship and 1 engineer. I secured the uplink which was nuked, and eventually won through annihilation

hey in civ rev i had a atomic war and there were nukes all over the sky and luky when they all ended them selfs in 2030 i had one last place albania that only had warriasand about 2 more nations left and we all had warrias so it was like starting all over again and it took 200 tuns to make modern infatry. but 1 nation had democracy so they didnt launch their nuke and wen they launched it they hit russia and lucky i had my navy units alive i bombed them and won the end

The voice commands are the same, all i would say is get it on pc if ur graphics arn't very good, but if you have a good pc, get it on pc because it can look better depending on your monitor.
