This movie literally fucked me over emotionally, I'm currently in a long distance relationship and it scares me that this same thing will happen to me and my significant other throughout our relationship. This movie, it was fantastic, but also horrible, just because of the fact that it reminds you of how much distance sucks.

It's really annoying when comments are like... "he's five hours away!:(:(:(". K, I think Cali to UK is much worse. In terms of my relationship, I'm Toronto to UK. Get over it. Five hours is nothing. Most people go through "long distance relationships" when they go to separate universities, etc. It's not the same as having to deal with visas/spending the money to see each other a decent amount of times a year.
@BudMaryJane The movie was pretty good too. Good chemistry between the characters. Did you know the director just gave the 2 a scenario at times and they would just make up their own lines? But their were some times when the things were unnecessary. All in all a good movie. It showed the real struggle between LDR's
this and last year i was in a relationship with a danish foreign exchange student, and we got close, he even told me i love you in danish (i didnt know atm) which sucked and last week he broke it off with him and me..its over..he broke it off because distance would be hard and he didnt want me to be hurt or sad and he never planned to get close to someone..it just sucks because he's all i want all day everyday..he leaves in june!

i find it actually funny knowing that Jennifer Lawrence and Anton Yelchin worked together in The Beaver, and his character had a huge crush on her character. Then, this time, she's the other woman. LOL. GREAT MOVIE BY THE WAY :)

@Maria91bl But this movie isn't particularly plot driven, I mean it doesn't matter if you know she gets a promotion or they start seeing other people or she can't go to the USA. The point of watching this film is to hear their dialogue, see their subtle actions and reactions and go on the journey with them, I don't think this trailer particularly "spoils" the movie at all.
