I have the entire original CD. I found in on the street in Foxboro, MA. It had been run over and still survived, so I had to take it home and listen to it. Completely amazing. I was blown away. I like the orignal songs so much better, especially "Gunnin" it was so different...made me sad... and "Saturday"!!! completely heartbreaking...

well, wether they regret ditching jake or not, the new hedley is better and really successful, so it's their loss. They only ditched him, cuz he was getting too famous.

um actually he ditched them. he decided that success was more important than loyalty and the second his label offered him a deal, on the condition that he leave his best friends and long time band mates, simply because they didn't have the fake sugary sound that his new bandmates have, he jumped at the opportunity.

The rest of the guys got screwed over because Jacob found a small amount of fame on Canadian Idol and exploited it.

ummm jake didn't replace them, i hate how people think that. he didn't dump or fire them. they went their seperate ways because i believe most of them wanted to go to college.

he did replace them. My brother was the bass player in hedley. Jake decided they weren't good enough so he hired a professional band and then redid their music. The guys in hedley still wanted to be in hedley. I remember my brother came home one day saying that jake was going forward with a new band. Then later on they found he kept their name hedley.

Jacob should have tried harder to get a record deal with the old band, he would maybe not earn as much money but the music would be so much better!!! and there were so many devoted fans that I'm sure they would have suceeded anyway!
