I seen an instrument at a flea market the other day that looked very similar to the sitar. It had the bulbous bottom end, a neck, and it seems 4 large tuning pegs at the head. However, it didn't have the tuning pegs along the neck I don't think.  The person there said is was like a Japanese geisha girl guitar. Anyone have any idea what it might have been?

@MrvlZmb No, while I didn't even know what a "shamisen" was until I started looking for that thing, that's not what it was. It may very well have been a Sitar, I just didn't notice the tuning pegs on the neck, however I don't think it had them, plus the tuning pegs at the top were large and it seems 2 were on the face, and either 1 or 2 were on the side. It looked very much like the instrument in this vid, just not exactly. Thanx.
