Electro is nothing new it has been coming back out for about the last 5 years now gaining speed fast especially electro house. Anyone remember Kraftwerk? The original Electro group? Well, time has changed a lot since then! Trance went dead in '99 and went slave to progressive house, progressive house got played out by Digweed and Sasha. And I for one am very thankful because this sound is just hard wicked dirty and fucking awesome, just what the dance scene needs at this time!

Checked it out (on myspace) and very average to be honest. Nothing new about it, heard it 100 times before. Chemical was the only track that was half decent and even that wasn't great. Even this track (all alone) is very old and past it now, I might even remove this video. Electro is getting really dull now, most of it like this illaudio is overproduced and boring. Progressive and Tech house is the way forward in my opinion

Losing nothing mate, prog and tech is where it's at with house music. A lot of the current productions are really pushing the boundaries, just check out the likes of Deadmau5 etc. You say that and you listen to dubstep...lol...dear oh dear. Sorry mate but that music contains little or no thought or production skills imo. 10 a penny knocked out by chavvy kids in their bedrooms. Same with UK Garage, I despise everything about the scene. Open your ears and listen to the music, not the image!

ye man, I agree that Electro is becoming increasingly over overproduced, hell, few times as of late I've found myself getting bored listening to some tunes, but its still got just the greatest vibe to it, all a matter of finding a skilled DJ with a good taste for tunes, I really hope it still has a couple solid years left.

As for dubstep, I hated it myself till last month, heard a few sick sets at this large rave in my province.
