  • Cthulhu is not amused.

  • ok vid author, let me explain it to you: no cephalopod known to man fertilizes the eggs after their laid, thats what Fish do, cephalopods mate with each other and fertilize the eggs before their laid, hence why cuttlefish and squid are often seen with males and females getting all touchy-feely with mating. the male is delivering the sperm to the female. fertilizing the eggs which are then laid, its the same for Cuttlefish and even Octopus just that Octopus arent seen in social groups for mating

  • so if you ever thought you saw a cuttlefish feeding on coral, its okay, it was just doing the dirty.

  • He also looks like that alien from the Starcraft cover.

If you were diving around and didn't know about these creatures (and especially their color-changing ability), you would think you saw an alien - or a ghost!

  • yea haha awesome

  • @zoodle85

  • Awsome fish, does anyone know where they can be located? I think it might be in Bali.

  • Technically they are not fish, they are mollusks, part of the Cephalopod family, which includes squid and octopus. Its unfortunate that their name is misleading.

  • you'd think the tentacles would give it away, though. misnomers suck.

  • and they can be found in more than one place.

  • Hi Mulvey -

Cuttlefish aren't fish, they're cephalopods.... tentacled aquatic invertebrates like octopus and squid.
