@moustafawushu looks like YOU are the cheated one. I asked around and this version of tuan da is quite old. it predates the BSL #6 that is seen today. this form is actually more traditional than the one you call tuan da...
It's not traditional, its wushu, :P I trained in a very traditional school studying cheng style bagua where belts were used to just hold your pants up. I actually prefer having a distinct set of criteria to compare to at each level. They use a duan system for wushu in China, and some of the top schools in the US (run by former professional chinese wushu athletes) have some sort of designation of level or belt to guage a student's progress.
I didn't start the school, so seems to be a moot point to tisk tisk me. Many wushu schools in the US have some means of achievement, whether it is a belt or a level, it is essentially the same thing.
The only point is the style is Chinese not American. If you adopt the Judo ranking system that has spread to most styles you most likely not traditional...Im not blaming you...
i am assuming that there are many forms called dwen da because this form in no way resembles the dwen da i know!

@fzeeshan I know this form also, and we call it tuan da, but nobody else seems to. I would LOVE to know what anyone else thinks this form is.
