Perhaps he had a mental lapse from driving a different type of truck. Some depots are drive-thru and the trailers are curtain-siders. Once the vehicle is inside and out of the rain fork lift trucks load and unload from both sides. This method of operation is standard with split loads and things going to different places.
How long do I have to wait before I will never see another BMC trailer? They sold the old trucks to mexico and you never see them around. Damn trailers.

@sapper422 Ummmmm it is possiable.. End of January 2011 I sat for 7 days waiting on a load to get loaded in Muskogee, OK.. Roads were shut down for 2.5 days which meant the shipper didn't have the products needed to produce what they were shipping.. The weather got so bad the plant shut down for 1 day... I am not saying this is an every day occurance.. This happens rarely but it can happen... Doubt it is the case in this video though...
@Alergic2idiots you are right that weather can wreak havok ok deliveries i know my dad has been a long haul trucker for 25+ years and i even did a stint as a long haul guy my self but even still 6 days is excessive, the only reason i can think of for being 6 days late is if his tractor broke on him, in which case its understandible but still my rig broke on me and i still made my deliveries on time i wasn't late once

But I could not stand working for the trucking companies who work you to the bone with little compensation or appreciation. For what these drivers go through, they should make triple for their efforts. Plus these companies will turn on a driver if anything ever happens. I have respect for the drivers, but not the companies. They want you to drive no matter what, yet they preach safety.

I was parked perpendicular to the other trucks in the parking lot one time. I woke up after the truck shook. Looked out and saw a trail of antifreeze. Someone went to bed and forgot to set their brakes. I followed the trail to a truck with a hood a "little" out of alignment.
@jimmydcap How do you know it's an old Burlington trailer? are you going by the triler number? I didn't see any sign of the old red/white/blue star on it. if it's an owner op he should have painted over the old Burlington trailer numbers & put on his own. We had to.

The way this driver presented himself after the accident was not professional at all. If he acted like he felt bad, I would have felt bad for him. However, he had been doing so poorly that his company told us NOT to load him! He didn't care about his truck, load, delivery time or our equipment. Come on....6 days late?

I grew up around hard working truckers my whole life and now that I drive them I know that there a lot more professionals out there then bad apples. Plus I load trucks too, so I get to deal with a lot of drivers face to face. They are all human just like car drivers...good ones and bad ones.

The only time I have had my trailer brakes lock up in the cold is when I set my brakes right after getting off the road and the road mist made them freeze.
