I wish that plane would see some damn action I'm tired of working on a bomber that does nothing but airshows and exercises. It needs to KILL, it's a BOMBER. So I'm cross training out of maintenance.

@SimSupercarWhiz They haven't done anything with Iraq, and haven't done any missions over Afghanistation since late 2005/ early 2006. It's been mostly the B-1, don't know about the B-2.

@dnuofntsol I recall that there were some B-52's doing missions over Afghanistan, and ended in a friendly fire incident, on a TEXAS element working in Southern Afghanistan.

Great ol video and plane. How do the keep it flying so many years? Can someone find a few good targets in Afghanistan and send a couple over one day? Ir night. Maybe it would be just as scary bs great way to remind some folks about the things we hold in reserve.
