this show was the reason y i ddnt join one theater in the island that actually GIVES credits for every show you do. cuz i was part of the show n my elementary/middle school when we did it in 2005, i felt a lot of magic happening and wanted to experience it again. n im happy that we'll be performing on the 20th year anniversary that the movie came out. i skipped camp rock for B&B. B&B 4 EVA! :D

Awh with the re-release of the movie this Oct. I was hoping the broadway version would tour again. I saw the broadway when it first came out and it is a night I have never forgotten! I've always wanted to see it again so much. :( :( :(

@operagirl81 there is a tour going on presented by Networks and it has some of the team that worked on the original broadway production...but its a much scaled down version of the show...i'm from SoCal and I've never saw the show so the tour might be my only chance but idk if i'm goin to like it b/c one of the things that the tour lacks is visuals which is a huge thing for me in this show

I know! I can't wait for the tour to take off again. I will not miss it this time around. :) And hopefully one day there will be a revival of this show. Sarah Uriate Berry is one of my favorite Bells's! She seems like such a sweetheart and I also loved her in Light in the Piazza and Cinderella. She's beautiful inside and out.

our high school did this show last year, and it was absolutely amazing to be a part of. the songs are great, and the orchestral score is awesome. it gave us all chills!!

it's so funny how the critics all expected the show to flop and it lasted 13 years, I got to see it with the original and the closing cast and the show was and always will be one of my favorites.

omg I am so devestated that Beauty and the Beast is not playing in broadway anymore, I never had the chance to see it live, truth be told I saw my first broadway show just last year and I'm fucking 18 years old man. Oh man I'm a big disney fan and so far I've seen the Lion King and The Little Mermaid, it's gonna bother the hell out of me that I'm not gonna get to see one of my favorite disney films, Beaty and the Beast on Broadway. I hope sometime in the future they will bring it back :(

My uncle Jamie Ross was Maurice for the last few years of the show and you can see him in the crowd standing in the middle in a blue sweater with white hair just above the "est" in "longest" when the words come up!

I actually saw the whole thing on you tube once. Someone videotaped the whole show and posted it in 10 minute sections on you tube. It was removed due to terms of violations. I still wish I could have seen it live.
