Funny thing is, Max Bemis (The vocalist) knows how to play guitar and piano, and even went to music school for it if I'm not wrong. The rest of the band does just great with their individual instruments, in my opinion. I don't see you doing anything better.

there is only one of hime singing live, but on the record there are like 4 tracks of just him singing the chorus. Plus the album utilizes some reverb. This live recording is very dry in the vocal sense, which takes away from it. The song itself is well written though. Your thoughts?
I agree that this isn't exactly perfect but bands have off times all the time. They are still an excellent band, just because one song on one show might have been sketchy doesn't mean they suck. It happens.

Bands that can actually play their instruments and sing on stage as well as the studio. All music now today is pointless crap. I dont care if he is singing about concertration camps and Jews. You can't be serious. Innovation and muscianship is at a all-time high. Yes, it is amidst a sea of repetition and rip-offs, but the bands you mentioned are nothing but a prototype taken to the most publicly acceptable standard. The Dear Hunter, The Receiving End of Sirens: look them up.
