  • Your treatment of it is an improvement over Keith's, no doubt. And I like it. One thing, drummer to drummer, is that you are mostly behind the beat, dragging it. That's always a no no. Try it again w/o being so relaxed. Push the beat, and it will be better.

  • @davedaveson100 ==you're the idiot, I play the double bass along with the bass guitar line, Keith was not a technical drummer, he was more sensationalism, personally I think his drums sucked on this, mostly because this is a recording "in the works", it was never finished, it was released on Odds & Sods, a filler to give them time off, had it been "finished" I think it would have been different, and not what should have been done, what he did was odd, more tom tom and no beat

  • AND... Keith had a lot of problems with beats outside the 4/4 range, I believe a lot of what is on this is Petes demo, I have never heard Ketih or anyone match what is on record, the Who played it differently live, AND, that is why there are no drums on The Music Must Change, Keith couldn't do it, its 6/8, more of a musical piece with a flowing groove, if you want to see me play a Who tune note for note, see my 905 or my Can't Explain, and I'm an American with British heritage to the 1400's

  • @beelzabubba , I thought it an interesting variation

if you like BOC perhaps you'll like this, I'll send you one of 3 BOC covers I did, delete if you don't want

  • This gives it such a stronger Vibe great job once again

  • @SH3L70N

thanks, it seemed to need some kind of beat, played with it for years
