Wow Id go gay for someone who can play that movement so well lol! That was good, that was one of the most intense interpretations Ive listened too. You're playing is awesome man
I can say, that as a pianist as well, This is probably one of the best interpretations I've heard! Sir, you are a great pianist! you should keep going with what you have, and hopefully mabey I'll even end up running into you at a competition one day! Keep it up! 5/5*
I know this vid is about 2 years old, but congrats on the coda. That's so difficult to play the first half of it (the coda) that fast. I find the last part is easier though. At first I was wondering how you could get the Presto section faster than the rest of the piece, but good job.
How young are you? Like 12? U r simply AMAZING!! Is that you playing Chopin's Revolutionary Etude? 'Can't tell since your back was to the cam. I'm assuming that was also you? You look older from the back. lol lol Silly me. Please let me know okay? You are a freak'n GENIUS at the keyboard. I wish I had your talent. I struggle for months at the piano and still come up short. You sound fantastic!
I agree with CaliffDude13, to fast, truly a great pianist you are. You hit every key nearly flawlessly which is quite remarkable since it's an 8 minute song:) you know you could've done better. it needs more of a(n) legato feeling and could more dynamics, more of a surprise with the double forte's. (lol, i sound like a criticXD, but i are nots) anyways, Great job:)
du bist deutsch? ok. dann will ich dir mal schreiben:
I don't think that I used the pedal as much as you think, because the hall was very big, and sometimes it sounds like I used pedal, but I didn't. But anyway, next time I could make it a bit more transparent.
you play this part very well =) I really want to learn this part!!!.... lol since no one has mentioned this, this part is also in Shindô (very gd film...go watch now!)
Amazing!!! I love your playing! Really good! Little mistake at 5:44, and lots of miss notes..
The end was a total mess..the fast part with the right hand was bad..i didnt hear a single note.. anyway good playing. i love the part where it gets speed up.. :)
You should check out how Dino Imeri plays this sonata.. its brliant..check it out!
The performance had all the demonic energy and excitement demanded of the music - the main themes were played very idiomatically - the phrasing of the opening theme was fantastic. I imagine Beethoven would have loved much of this performance.
(A perfect performance till 6:55 when I might steady the tempo before building it up again for the conclusion)
outstanding!!!amazing!!!u play it a bit faster but it turns out very nice though..i`m lookin` forward to see other your performances koz i love your music.>>
yeah, I didn't find out myself, but I read a book from Joachim Kaiser (called "Great Pianists of our time"). And there it says, that if one compares the recordings frmo Gilels in studios with the concerts, there's a remarkable difference in the tempos, obviously due to his nervousness, but maybe also to improve the effect.
If I may offer one criticism it is that you should consider the "ma non troppo" a bit more in determining your tempo. Whilst what you achieve here is impressive, the level of your performance could be much greater if you preserved the mystery of this movement in your phrasing, the perpetual motion Beethoven wrote gives the illusion of speed, and truly you should only really be at a presto speed when you've reached the Coda!
thanks for your comment... it's funny, that the tempo doesn't get too fast was something I had to practice the most, but everytime I play this piece in concert, I play it a lot faster than normally. That's certainly also due to my nervousness... (like Gilels ;))
Yeah, in the end I had to play the coda so damn fast, I almost messed up (I messed up with some notes anyway there)
This is really good. People who leave shitty comments can't play this.

hmm...
Personally, I like Chopin more than Beethoven...
I'm not sure, I have to listen to more..
they're both definantly spectacular, but I think that beethoven is just too showy and doesnt have enough feeling in it...
This was played very well though!! :)
