  • S-M-O-O-T-H-E!!! THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES AND THE FUN,TOM D.BRICK,NJ. {AT THE SHORE}.

  • An early "white" doo wop group ~this ones from 1954. Fantastic lead vocals. Thanks for posting it up!

  • Ah...This one is really sweet and mellow. Great harmonies and a great lead make this wonderful recording timeless. Thanks for uploading this one, lytation.

  • This brings me back to '96... I was hosting my radio show on the now defunct WCNJ FM. We had a big sign in front of the buidling telling people to tune in. I was playing The Starlarks on Josie and a guy was pulling out from the next building.. He looked at our building, stopped his car for a second and I could see him reach down and retune his radio. He threw me a huge thumbs up and I spun a double play of The Teardrops on Josie to the random thumbs up guy.

  • Man you're killing me. One of the greatest sounds of all time. I've heard rumors that this is one guy overdubbing his voice. Given the vintage of this recording that would really surprise me, but it would explain why no pictures of this group have surfaced.
