@bayareaaxialcrawler1 ok the reason you are breaking driveshafts is because you have integy driveshafts. they suck i had them they broke after 1 week on mine. i bought more first drive on the rocks snapped again and thats because mine was lifted higher like yours is, you are putting more strain on them go with stock ones or the mip ones

@idoeverything733 I was breaking them before not after I put the integy ones on and I have had probably 10-12 crawlers sine the one in this video but thanks for your suggestion anyways.

good luck with those crap integey drive shafts lol theres nothing wrong with the upgraded steele yokes and stock shafts i broke one once and i was having a tug of war contest i bought and paid way to much for those integey things and had to buy the out drives for my tranny those arnt made for the ax10 or scx10 there for a trx revo

why did you use traxxas big bores?

they are a lot smoother than the stock axial shocks and they raise the ride height a little more so it has more suspension travel did you see the other videos of it

I was using the r2 tranny but I put the Axial back on. I just up greaded the gears to steel gears. Have you tryed 3cell lipo's with your Side Winder. I was running a 20 tooth pinion with stock spurgear, 65T motor and a 3cell lipo, thing was fast. Now I'm using a 45T with the same set up, ya should try it. Its fast,

wat battery connector do i need for the scx10? does it matter or how do i choose it? and wats a good battery? i want one thats water proof and last a crap load of time one hour and up, please reply

your connector depends on how your esc connector is and there are only a few batteries that are watrproof but the higher the mah the longer the run time

you can ballon it just check the heat on the first few runs

any 5000 mah will last that long its all in your motor as well like a 3500 kv on a 2s 5000 will last about an hour and there are alote of batterys that are water proof and any nihm battery you can submerge into water
