I remember this game getting rather serious...Olimar's journal talks about how he wonders if he'll ever see his wife and kid again...I remember reading that and just being stunned Nintendo would allow that kind of mood to be set in one of their games...
I've never seen it...probably ought to YouTube it, but my guess is: he dies and you get to read like his last journal. But as I said, I've not seen it :P I think you can beat the game without getting all the parts, but the only time I played it I got everything and the best ending.
Oh? Hm, that's not as bad as I thought it'd get...but still, this game was fun to play just because of the mood. It's this fun little game that has a rather serious tone to it that makes you really want to keep playing. Thanks for sharing :)

You know, the Game Cube is something that got by me. Most likely because I was into PS2 at the time, but watching your GC collection update videos and such makes me want to become a GC collector too. It seems there were a hell of a lot of quality games.
good video but i cant beat this game 2 hard 4 me now im on xbox 360 playing on veteren i might go back 2 pikmin it looks fun

There are purple pikmin (just so you know)
If that mushroom boss thing uses it's gas spraying attack thing on them , they turn purple and will follow him, and attack you
