so do digitech rp pedals not work on spider amps? cuz I have a spider iii amp.. and just bought the digitech rp 255 model... and im having alot of trouble with switching tones. If my amp tone is on a metal tone.... and I put a clean tone on my digitech pedal... it ends up being a softer metal tone. if I put it on a clean tone on my spider 3 amp.. and try and put a more metal tone on my pedal.. it just sounds like a ok rock tone.. something like ac/dc or something... fucking pissed i wasted 150$

Got my rp250 about 2 years ago, gotta say it's probably one of the best amp modeling processor out there. I've gig quite a lot with it, sounds great live.
Dude, finally someone who knows his amps. Digitech really hits the nail on their modeling. A for Line6, they are a joke of a unit..digital sounding crap. TC Electronics Nova System and Digitech RP500/1000 units are the way to go.
@michaeletheridge622 the crazy thing is you can leave cab sim on when you set it to amp mode the cab sim takes over your speaker like its the actual cab you are using meaning it does not sound like its muffled it sounds very prescent and like your rig has been transformed into that amp and cab model
