Elon Musk is definitely the super hero entrepreneur of the Smart Green Economy. In this talk he claims that the Model S will be the best car in the world. Given that Daimler and Toyota both already buy technology from Tesla that claim may be true. I wish we would see a hot EV startup in Germany, too, challenging the incumbent auto makers. As of today, Tesla's market cap is $2.6B but I am sure it will be around €50B in 2020. Tesla's retail strategy is that of Apple, so it's rock solid ;-)

The Bloom Bax will work in a Tesla. I think a 'small' Bloom box will work N a all electric car!! The car would get 4 times the mileage then the batteries currently used. If they can get the Bloom Box down 2 lets say $5-800.00 4a car,, it would help the us all. As well as lower the price of The Tesla & your space program. I also feel The Bloom Box can work in harmony with your solar technology. Super Cool Stuff!! I know you can make it happen Elon,, So check it out!! Citizen Angel l l : l l

I've been following EM since about 2002 and I'm blown away that someone my age is so accomplished. It's inspiring. Elon is redefining business and the direction of mankind. He's in phase 2 of his career. Phase 3 (replacing the entire ICE fleet of US cars and colonizing Mars) will be epic.

@hashbrownison Tell me about it, this man is very inspiring and aware. I'd love to sit and chat with him, he's about cooperation and doing good, not profit. Although you must be profitable to be able to make change, it is NOT his focus, these are the types of humans we will see appear as we recognize that this is our only home and we must save it or die. The profit motive has no place in that realization.

I don't think Elon cares whether the competition beats him at this game. The point is he gets them to play the game sincerely (100% electric cars) or lose the car market itself.

Tesla will be the Apple/Google equivalent of the car industry; by the time the car manufacturing dinosaurs (GM, Ford, etc..) truly push EV's they would probably equate to the substandard products equivalent to the Microsoft Zune!
