But when you get there, you realize it's not enough. Nothing satisfies you anymore. Cause what they say is paradise is nothing. It's meaningless. There is so much pain in life. How can all that save us? We can live only when we let go of what THEY say heaven is... and realize there's more. There's something more..

This song pretty much exactly describes the Paradise they found at the end. I was so dissapointed... They came so far just to be dragged back to the beginning. But then again, they weren't looking for hope, or love, or anything like that... They just wanted to find a future. I guess it's another case of the old "Be careful what you wish for" . Terrific story, though. :')

This song is beautiful and so meaningful. It's not an anti-heaven thing. Instead, it rejects the common vision of heaven and substitutes it for an even more meaningful heaven. One where you don't run away from your life to, but one where you can remember your pain and accept it, and come to terms with yourself. True heaven is where you can remember the ones you loved and who loved you. It is pure peace.
