I also have a 5 string Squire and I still play it with a hardcore band. I like the "fenderish" sound of it but it is to big for me, heavy and hard to play. My good base is a Cort Curbow -4 strings. I love it!

I would have used that instead, and I HATE 4-strings! I'd just play it because I'm not a fan of Fender (esp Squire). I own a 6-string Warwick Thumb BO. That'd be sick for this song.

this song is 5 string...he used a 5 string... he does on a couple other songs. youc an play them on 4 string though

Peter and Kenny just use alternate tuning, so it's like playing the bottomr 4 strings on a 5 string bass (and respectably the bottom 6 string on a 7 string guitar)

Pete uses a 4 string bass tuned BEAD. So basically it's a 5 string but missing the G. It's all about what you're most comfortable with. Personally I much prefer a 5 string bass over a 4 string tuned BEAD.

so far I made 7 songs, but i dindt made commercials yet.

the band kinda fell apart...

I started when we heard peter died, lyrics with answers on his quastions which he made in his lyrics. and i can nearly sing as perfectly as peter ever did.

never gigged, and no band name yet. thats the sad part... =\
