nice i'm trying to do some of the 100 figures.. so i would like to know about ur cue' masse, how long and how much it weights?, because, i have a modify cue stick, so i reduce the long of my shaft, and i use a extra weight in it, the long is 120 mm and the weight is 22 oz, what do u think, can i do one of the 100 figures with my cue?..

Semih always has the same repertoire in shots and don't give him another cueball what is not his because he won't play with it! Because of his looks and charme he is mr. Magic but he never compete with us because he can lose and lose his status of mr. magic. Don't misunderstand me, he is a great player, but not a billiardgod because of his repertoire of 41 shots with his silicon-spray-cueballs.

I believe you guys could be as skilled as semih.. practice is all it takes..

so can you recommend some equipment? What type of cue do you use for masse shots? And in general what type of tips do you prefer for both masse and regular spin shots.

The top 8 players from the world (some of them are Dutch) can make all the shots Semih is playing.

But in competition we follow patterns, 100 figures we have to solve. The scores of the top 8 of the world and the top 3 of Holland is 70 - 75%. So we make 70 - 75 figures out of 100.

Equipment: I use for almost all masséshots a short cue, 14 mm tip and 500 grams (½ kilo) weight. For 2 shots a 20% heavier cue.

For the whipshots a poolcue with a flexible shaft, 12 mm tip.

hm the terminology is a little different where i am from.. what exactly is a "2 shot" and a "whipshot"

also you didn't mention tip "speed" for any of those shots... like soft, medium or hard.. maybe extra hard for masse?

We play patterns in Artistique, 100 figures, some are difficult and others are easier. Americans only understand pool because they see balls dissapear, they want to see direct results, or they want to see three or more cushions in billiards, thats the American. Semih S. is only an artist who can play a few artistique shots, all his shots we can also play and most of us even better!

I have never played 3-cushion billiards, but I think its just a little bit boring, maybe I´m wrong, but what I like about pool and snooker is potting the balls and hearing the sound of them smacking the pockets! :)
