it isnt really a kaizo trap there is a jumping note block at the bottom of the hole and it springs you over the kudos moon so you can't get it but if you hit the p switch then you get the kudos moon and complete what cousinoer5 wants you to do by getting all 3 kudos moons and i know because i played that level and beat it (It is a very hard rom hack.)
