My guess from the line "he won't like it if they come", is that there is a dark spirit among them, a sterong one, possibly a demon, controlling them. @AnthrSolidSnake A modern day ghost box is simply a modified radio that rapidly and continuously sweeps the frequencies. This creates a mixture of white noise and tiny audio snippets. In EVP research, its widely thought that EVPs tend to form in amongst background noise. The ghost box seems to provide the perfect noise for this to happen and thus picking up EVP
@ConenTyrson1 My own personal theory is that it isnt so much the frequencies that are manipulated, more the background noise it creates. EVP is often found within everyday noises. The ghost box seems to create the perfect mixture of noises for this to happen. I'll certainly be asking this question though in my next session as I notice you posted it on my latest upload. But,there are actual transmissions being broadcast on that radio,and just because as your tuning it around,you pick up bits and peices of ACTUAL voices,do you really beleive they are talking to you,and answering your questions? If so,wont they still be heard on just plain white noise?

@MisanthropeMr it does alot of times pick up a blip from a radion station for a sec,but i think it scans like 5-7 radio stations in a second so there is no reason for it to be making words together becouse that would be over a vast amount of RADIO STATIONS,if that makes any sense lol

@Ek5656 If ghosts are spirits of people who have lived before and they could speak another language in that life, I assume they would be able to talk in that language in the spirit world. Unfortunately I cant speak another language otherwise I would love to test it out lol. There is a youtube user called ChrisTrikkEVPs who does some of his ghost box sessions in Swedish though

Last night 4/2/10 i was trying to sleep and i kept getting white noise from my clock radio(which doesn't work) and my little boom box(which is not plugged in) i didn't hear any voices, but there was no reason for that to happen. Also, yesterday at about 10 at night, i was on the phone and the person i was talking too said he heard a bunch of static and then a voice, he couldn't make out what it was saying, but it was clearly a voice and it was male... It wasn't happy, according to him!
@FreakyLette its though that spirits can manipulate electrical devices, it could be worth trying to record some evp with a tape recorder or dictaphone to see if you pick any voices up...certainly sounds interesting, feel free to keep me posted if you capture anything :)
if you could quit it with the background noise can't make out anything check out my EVP's they are raw and unedited because I have no editing equipment I just used a digital recorder and my camera to film some stuff
@gravechild815 Hi, the background noise is part of what the ghost box does, all ghost box EVP recording requires all the noise in the background for the EVPs to form. It can take a bit of getting used to sometimes but the results can prove amazing sometimes
Its quite possible but apart from a small bit of French, I cant really speak any other languages so if I do get any through I may miss them. Its a good point though for sure

In a funny way, the activity seems to have died down since using the ghost box. We have always seen things where we live but since recording these EVP's, its almost as if they are happy that they finally got our attention

my sister woke up to find a grey mist hovering over me while I slept on her sofa, I was a teenager.we heard a sound of a chair rocking upstairs, that could have been anything but besides the mist, I was bathing in the same house, a clear as day knock on the door, her husband wouldnt have done that. i yelled, come in its unlocked, I asked, why didn't you just come in. they both didn't know what I was talking about. it was unmistakingly clear knocks. we never discussed those kinds of things

At my own home. We have always felt that there is some sort of paranormal activity here but its certainly not unpleasant. I feel as long as there is a harmony between any haunting and the people who live there then it is by no means a bad thing.
Do you conduct your sessions in all different places? Or are you always in one spot since I notice you hear from Martin often. If you are usually at the same location, are you near a bathroom that has some significance?

Yes that is the one drawback with the ghost box, filtering out all natural noise and also occassionaly you will hear more than one voice at the same time so it takes a very long time to fully listen to a full session and even then stuff can be missed. What do you mean by obits also lol?

Definately, I think we have only scratched the surface with ghost boxes. Down the years with more fine tuning and refinement, we could really be amazed at the results

Nice recordings ! You're right about showing both good and bad. I try to do the same with my evps. People should know that the paranormal has both good and bad.

Its thought that ghosts can interfere with electronics....sometimes if you ask them to turn things on and off they will try to communicate that way

i suppose our characters don't change even after death, lol its really strange, I hope we get to communicate with a few of them and they elaborate, answer questions, that can be documented. let us know why are they being interupted by others, cursed at, we get cursed at out of the blue, a frustrated soul I suppose or a jealous soul. are they suicides, do they need to deal with what went wrong before they move on or is say "my dad" not in heaven. this question i have asked before, im stuck onit

my sister woke up to find a grey mist hovering over me while I slept on her sofa, I was a teenager.we heard a sound of a chair rocking upstairs, that could have been anything but besides the mist, I was bathing in the same house, a clear as day knock on the door, her husband wouldnt have done that. i yelled, come in its unlocked, I asked, why didn't you just come in. they both didn't know what I was talking about. it was unmistakingly clear knocks. we never discussed those kinds of things

hey guys i fell asleep in the bath once and some force moved the shwer curtains and woke me up.... i cheked the window it was not even an inch open and it wasnt breezy ... it must have been a ghost.
ps .. the next day after i washed my face while i was going down i could hear the tap running ... then when i went to turn it off i found the taps were not even on... i aint kiddin around!!

At my own home. We have always felt that there is some sort of paranormal activity here but its certainly not unpleasant. I feel as long as there is a harmony between any haunting and the people who live there then it is by no means a bad thing.

Do you conduct your sessions in all different places? Or are you always in one spot since I notice you hear from Martin often. If you are usually at the same location, are you near a bathroom that has some significance?

I get alot of that with mine too at times...its strange.. got this man say once "was fun to stone her" then a guy say Be nice..and a real loud guy say STOP IT. think they were yelling at the first one.

JD, this is important to show the neg. as well as the poss.because to many people dabble thinking it is all rainbow and gumdrops and you as well as I and I'm sure many others KNOW that this is not a game andit is not all pleasure of speaking to the dead/living ... a lot of it is pain and grief and misunderstanding as to why they are there or what is happening.

wow, if that isn't proof then I do not know what is. there are those whom died left as spirits whom can communicate but seem to be afraid of some sort of bullies. the possibilities are endless aren't they? but one thing is for sure, I believe anyway, that where there is good there is evil. even on the otherside. I wish Martin or someone willing to tell you where they are and why they are in a crowd, sometimes being with so many, that even martin can't get a word out. Jon, did you find obits?

Yes that is the one drawback with the ghost box, filtering out all natural noise and also occassionaly you will hear more than one voice at the same time so it takes a very long time to fully listen to a full session and even then stuff can be missed. What do you mean by obits also lol?

is there a vortex ...doorway that you can get evidence of ? if it is a doorway its only a matter of time before you capture something to prove it .. i would keep a hd cam running for a few hrs through the nite ... hehe ..unless ya scared lol

As for the ghost box, it's still experimental. but, one knows broadcast stations cannot use vulgar language on air. something to think about ???

Great job, your responses are coming in very clear- I know I recieve a lot of nasty stuff- I try to ignore it or tell them to stop it-I heard one of them say yes- I replayed that part and before the yes someone said she talks to much!! Get use to it I say much research left to be done!!
