The Gibson is like a 00 size .Martin is 0 size little smaller

Gibson is louder by some.

agreed re strings being too light and old they both sound great butthe gibson does it for me for slide

For me the Gibson sounds better with the slide....I suspect that I would prefer the Martin to play but it sounds here as if the strings are a bit light for slide.

@fendermac thanks,, the martin seems like the strings are too light,, they are real old too.. I think your right the Gibson seems deeper and more vibey..
