My only wish is that seeming they have valves they could have gone for more of a bias (vox style) trem sound which I prefer to the opto style of fenders but this sounds really good.
well yeah but not as often. but even amp tubes only need to be changed every 6 months IF that. ive heard vintage silvertones with the original tubes that just sound outrageous
Great sounding pedal, price is a bit steep, but you certainly pay for the quality which is outstanding. That's the USA I like, innovation, quality and vintage sounds, kool.\m/
Gotta give it up to you guys, I've been silent too long: your demos ROCK! Besides choosing quality gear to demo, I love being able to see where the knobs are, and your easy to understand yet in-depth explanations. THANK YOU.
Btw I've been using the original Boss trem forever but I'm a fan of tube pedals. Probably be ordering one of these in the near future ;)
It costs like to EH Wigglers, but I can't say that it sounds twice better. EH Wiggler in my opinion is much smarter way to spend money for a tube tremolo. :)
Man, all the Effectrode stuff sounds REALLY good but, I can't justify the cost. Especially when you can get a nice amplifier for that muck (see Blackheart)! LOVE THE DEMOS!!!
It's actually a bit more complex than that. There are different ways to accomplish it. As mentioned in the video, there are also different LFO shapes. Plus, there are non-linearities in each circuit. And that's just the beginning. Line up 3 tremolo pedals and you'll see that they don't all sound the same.
Hey Andy, just an idea: it'd be cool if you put your website's address link in the description of every video you make, this way we could check out the price & desc of the pedal just by clicking on the link
Great pedals, high price point! But that's expected from a tube pedal. Sounds awesome. Andy, you are amazing for the fact that no matter what the effect is, you know songs and styles to bring out the best demo possible.
Yeah, that's what's so great about Andy's demos. Most guitarists who demo pedal's always try to show off their chops, but Andy gives us what we want to hear. Not saying he isn't good, because he is.
what song is Andy playing at 4:09-4:37?

Tremolos are pretty useless. Your gonna use them in maybe one son.g in your set and they still cost over 100 bucks

thats a very nice sounding pedal...but yeah, too much money for me. i'll stick with my onboard trem...

The volume goes up and down. I dont know how one pedal could be better then another when its just going up and down.

That's along the same line of thought as "How can one overdrive be different from another? It just distorts the signal."
