  • i hate the camerawork, but other than that...great!

  • wow such a weak performance...

  • I was delighted by this opera and watching Andreas just fill up my senses. I would like to ask ingenious question should anyone be willing to help me ...What is the meaning of the golden ball and that of the olive branch? Yet there's an instrument in the ochestra which looks like a guitar with a long arm, how is it called? Thanks in advance.

  • Finally got the DVD -- terribly fun, and FREAKIN HILARIOUS!

  • No da capo?

  • There was, of course. We have to wait for the dvd.

  • I saw it 4 times, and I was quite certain there was a da capo - especially since it's the end of an act (act 2 right?), so it would be weird if there wasn't one.

Wouldn't be in the style of neither Negrin or Mortensen to leave such an important Aria's da capo out:)

  • Well, when I saw your other comment it was obvious you were there.... :)

I saw it only once, because I had no time and money to stay in Denmark for more days. But this production was worth any journey.

The only thing that bothers me is that I cannot rewind my favourite parts. Not yet...

  • I guess you heard it on BBC 3 today then? If not, you can hear the entire production ín concert from royal albert hall - it's on BBC 3's webpage.

  • Thank you for the info, I looked it up. It was wonderful. At last I heard the Tuva version and all the staff were healthy... It did make a change.

  • Not only was it the 'real' Rosmira, but the sound quality of the stream from BBC is much, much better than the one broadcast from Copenhagen. Of course it helps that it was only a semi-staging, and they weren't running around as much.

  • I hope bbc won't take it off the net after a time, cause I suspect I'll be a regular visitor at that site. :)

  • If they do, let me know - I'm making a recording :)

  • How can you download it? Do you record from the soundcard while replaying it from the site?

I'd like to have it on my pc, too....

  • That's it, yeah. There's a function for recording called 'Stereomix' or 'What U Hear' - and then I just use Audacity (free program) to record with.

  • Thanks.

  • You can download it with Real Player

  • Thanks, I did it already with Audacity.

  • The camera is very confusing:((

I had been looking forward to this DVD and this is what I get?

Ah, just kidding. Camera is bugger all to me.

Semmingsen and Scholl, not to mention Dumeaux and Jensen......... and Knudsen --- and Bo... Can't wait till I get it. They were all great!!

  • I went 7 times (including dress rehearsals) and can't wait for the DVD :)

  • Looking at this, now I can imagine why they need so much time to edit a dvd from recordings.

  • It appears that the DVD will be released on September 7th :-)

  • Thank you for this info, you made my day!

  • Thank you! I attended the premiere, and it was great. I'm excited to see that the DVD will be available this autumn!

  • Awesome! Thank you so much for posting!

  • Wow! Thank you!

  • Beautiful. Thanks for uploading!

  • by the way... This is "Furibondo spira il vento" from the end of the 2nd Act.

  • Bravo!

  • Very nice.
