  • Do americans in generel find it hard to yield to the right!!?? I've seen alot of vids from the US, and i'm still baffled over all the bad drivers....

  • Hi,

I have a few questions for fire fighters.

1.Do you guys use a GPS to find the house?

2.How come fire trucks respond to medical emergencies, for example.I had 3 seizures, and each time I had one, not only did the ambulance come, but the fire truck came too.And when my brother passed out, a fire truck arrived first.

  • 2:23 damn idiot, pull over

  • I want a fed q in my house as an alarm clock.

  • i think they got a little lost lol

  • This marysville Washington???

  • @stinkmissile Why would it say Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue? long distance response?

  • @konatown5 thats not what it said when i saw it on my ipod.

  • Great Video!

  • 2:23 .. ignorance, or completely stupid. This is why the police should follow fire trucks. For people to "fail" to yield. If cops start writing more tickets for people who don't move out of emergency vehicles way, and less for speeding the roads would have a crap ton of funding.

  • I suggest all fire apparatus be equipped with huge steel ram bumpers in front and you simply push the cars out of the way that don't understand PULL TO RIGHT AND STOP. Then when the cops show up to deal with the MVA the offender immediately looses their license for not yielding the right of way. Thank you guys for what you do! Keep it up!

  • if you notice at 1:56 the white car stops completely, forcing the grey car to speed up to get around! lol

  • Very Nice!!

Two of my uncles are firefighters for Engine 29 in Orange County California (Capistrano area). I hoping to do this when I go out there next time :-)

  • 5:43 "fucking cocksucker" hahahahahaah

  • Great video, there are a lot of idiot drivers that fail to yield.

  • hey did you have to get special permission to ride, or is it a thing any one can do????

  • That's cool u got to go on a ride along.. there's a fire department down the street from where I live I doubt they'd let u go on a ride along or at least not tape it lol. Here they drive like there on fire but don't usually have to deal with as much traffic as these guys. good video

  • is that a crack in the upper right corner of the windsheild?

  • Sounds like the airhorn was/is on its way out lol......or is it meant to sound like that?

  • @ImRatherTall It is meant to sound like that.

  • i see u were the third in company

  • i like fort lauderdale fire-rescue

  • Awesome video! Wow, you get around! How do you get to do all these rideouts?

  • Get a damn gps and stop looking at that street atlas! I ate a whole bag of popcorn before they arrived on the scene

  • Listen to that cummins roar!

  • GPS....... lol, even we have it, and we are volly's.

  • @billew0481

I was thinking the same thing.

  • Even though you didnt do a good job with the Q and air horns,I still gotta give it to ya, that is a nice truck! Good responce

  • @EngulfedSix What do you mean didnt do a good job with the sirens. Our job is not to be good at sirens our job is to save property and lifes good.

  • @lolkun not if you dont use the siren right to get people out of the way im just saying the Q technique was horrible i know its not your job but it makes a video look good if your gonna take one if you dont want it to loook good then it shouldnt be on youtube

  • I would shunt the motherfucker

  • The police officer at 2:36 should of pulled the stupid driver at 2:22 for not yielding.

  • Most likely the cop did not see the driver fail to yield. The cop was AHEAD and so probably did not have a good view in his/her side mirror.

  • run that q clear the traffic don't wait till your on top of it. Let them know your comin. Throw out that q sound that airhorn!

  • you out run your siren about about 55 miles an hour. You probably weren't goin that fast but you have to remember how cars are made with the sound proofing and the stereos no ones gonna hear that little siren, Put that Q on with the airhorn and they will know the good ol boys are comin!

  • Those tar-resin roof must burn something awful?

    Good run

  • You could atleast repair that right front winshield, with much money as that department makes...LOL yall keep up da good work!!

  • Yes its a Pierce Quantum

  • Just outta curiosity what kind of truck is this?

  • this is a engine truck with nossil spray

  • Manufacturer I meant.....Is it a Pierce Quantum?

  • Another nice Video !!

  • And the dumbest driver award goes to the driver at 2:20.

  • This gets me pumped. Cant wait. Two more weeks then im offically a volunteer!!!

  • Their seat belt use is something to be desired.

  • As someone who is not involved with public safety, I have to say, these videos share with the public an inside look into not only how you guys do your jobs, but how you get this heavy equipment there. Your lives are in danger from the minute you leave the station until you get back. Thanks to all who answer these calls. Thanks for protecting our lives and property at 4AM or 4PM. Professional or volunteer, you ALL have my deepest thanks.

  • @mike4405 Thank you so much that means so much to us and its an honor to work for the people one day we might have to rescue. I work at the 33rd busiest station and there is not a day that goes by that I woul ever say I hate my job.Its comments like that, that make me love it even more

  • they dont use the Q siren enough

  • they dont have to they only do it if the are crossing a a intersection or a street becouse the whale siren is used all the time basicly

  • freakin idiot in the chevy cav. at 2:20; changes lanes to in front of the engine and then refuses to get outta the way. nice vids as always, though.

  • I love the siren and compressed air horn. Finnish siren and compressed air horn are different

    -Pastori123456

  • Awesome vid. Love the Airhorn, Q, and federal Q.

  • Dude, Awsome vid! I'm gonna have to watch the rest of yours.

Also that response time is a littel on the long side. Were you going in like second due on a box alarm system? Or is that time pretty standard?

    Again, great vid.

  • actually we were called for a house fire. i think we were the 3rd engine on scene. usual response times are 2-3min i think.

  • @lightsandsirens5 This House Fire call was located in Zone 47Charlie. If all units are in quarters the response is Battalion 2, Battalion 13, EMS 29, Engine 47, Engine 8, Engine 2, Ladder 2, Rescue 47 or 247 depending on which is closer or in quarters. This makes Engine 2 the 3rd due Engine. Station 2/8 is located about 3 to 4 miles away from the scene.

  • @lightsandsirens5 my uncle drives engine 29s faster LOL

    jk

  • wat kind of air horn is that?

  • Dual 24-inch Grover Stuttertone Airhorns in need of a diaphragm adjustment?

  • Great video!
