lol crazyfingers! id like to see that too. patrick you should add a video like that to your viral Repertoire. call it " the weekly How-Down" where its just yourself and your father doing what you do best on the banjo! keep up the great work! Ben - England, U.K
I've been working on learning scales moreso than anything else recently. I've been going up and down the neck learning where the different notes are, and I've learned where all the major notes are. But on my banjo, from what I've learned, its a good idea to stick with the G- Major scale, and I know you use the F# instead of the F, but I never really understood why. With your explanation though, I now know why, and I also understand how scales actually work now. Thanks.
Very cool, as always! And you mentioned the bouzouki - the most beautiful instrument of them all, even if it doesn't make me want to dance like the banjo does. :)
great video. . . in fact they are all great videos. what i really want to see, patrick, is some serious banjo shredding, face melting jams. lets see a video where you simply tear it up . . .more so than you already do.
exellent i'm unleashed

In this video I was playing a Bart Reiter that somebody gave me. I gave it away a few months ago.
Nowadays I play a Somerset S-1P.

Looks like a Bart Reiter Deluxe. I'm not sure Bart makes that model any more.
