This is so heartbreaking to watch. I cannot even imagine what's running through these poor animals minds while being caged for probably their whole lives. Well thankfully hsus was able to rescue them from their misery there are still millions like them waiting for us around the world, which really breaks my heart. :(

Hey I live in Chapel Hill, NC! Don't put them to sleep! Let me know if the animals go up for adoption, I'd love to adopt one. I have a cat and a dog at home and both are friendly towards other animals.

@Kidd8Kitty Thanks for wanting to help! They haven't been put to sleep - one group of them is still being held, as there is a dispute over ownership. The other cats have found homes, or placed with placement partners in the area. If you're interested, you can check out the Guilford Animal Shelter.

I hope that HSUS put these animals up for adoption, including the deformed kitty, instead of killing them as they are known to do (HSUS kills millions of healthy animals every year). The serval should go to a facility like Big Cat rescue in Tampa. I've done pet rescue and came into possession of a half serval/ half bengal mix. They are NOT good pets whatsoever!

@Travelwise65 Actually we work with our Emergency Placement Partners to help find homes for animals we rescued from cruelty and neglect. In this case, some are still being held while ownership is disputed. Others have been adopted, or placed with our placement partners to be put up for adoption.
