The movie ruined the point of this song. Audrey yearns to go somewhere that's green, and the irony is that she ends up in Audrey II's stomach (which is green). The movie turned it into just what you expect -- ending up with a white picket fence and a green lawn. That sort of ruined a large chunk of the message of the play for me.

thats cause the original ending (that the test audiences hated) had Audrey die, and the test audiences all complained so they changed the ending that wouldv'e made it a classic!
