@TheGreek117 Thankfully, gone. S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is a decent example of a derivative style belonging to the 90s, but beyond that there is nothing notable about it. Incubus has increased their creativity tenfold with the release of Make Yourself and it flourished with Morning View and Crow Left of the Murder.

@harpUnstrung68000 Well, it's music, it depends on our liking. Old Incubus were perfect in my opinion. They incorporated such a nice combination of funk, nu metal alternative metal! But still, that's my opinion. I don't say this song is bad, there will always be people who will like it, it's just that it has nothing to do with the old stuff, and I don't only mean SCIENCE. Even Morning View is way more hardcore and Crow Left of the Murder has some nice songs and riffs too, but their last ones...

'Surface to Air' reminds me of a "livelier" version of 'Tomorrow's Food' that Brandon and Mike performed at Oxford in another video.. AND I SURE DO HOPE that the new album's theme/vibe is similar to these 2 tracks.. making the Spiritual Incubus Experience to a new level once again.. =)

Their music never disappoints. They always put out something new, they evolve & change just like every other person in this world. So I'm not surprised that their music has changed too. I love them endlessly. Even when they're playing in their 50's or 60's I'd still go see them :)
