Nope, and the Pro version usually gives an error like "drxl.exe has stopped working" so its best to avoid Game Maker altogether. Trust me, there are much better gamedesigning tools out there.

game maker isnt really a "kiddy program" since it has its own programming language with dll support to make it more flexible, as in making mmorpgs with 39dll or making games with a web browser in them, plus, some of the games made with game maker have been on sale, like spirits of metropolis... I know its not what the people who make games for a living use, but its good if its just like a kind of hobby...

Cool, good luck with it. If you want to make external 3D models (pretty advanced for beginner level) and don't have any 3d software there's a good freeware program called blender. It's pretty hard to get used to so I suggest finding some online tutorials.

Well, they can get anim8or. It's pretty easy to lern, download it, it's manual and read the manual from top to bottom. I did this when i was 10 or 11 years old, and i tougth that it was easy. Dont bother with blender, i have been sitting around with it for weeks, watching tutors and read mountains of documents, but i don't work faster with it than anim8or, though blender is more advanced, but i feel tha anim8or gives you more control. don't forget to reaad the whole manual! - Good luck!
