I read the book today. I love Brandon Lee and this movie will always be remembered for that, but I, for one, am glad they're doing a remake. The book was freaking awesome and it deserves a more faithful adaptation. The movie was watered down, the crow has little to no significance in it as opposed to the book where it talks and guides Eric. The book is also deeper and more emotionally driven, and the flashback scenes a better fleshed out. I hope they remake this.

@streetcat93 They were almost done filming. They just had his character's death scene to film, so they changed that part, and used a body double. When he's thrown out the window and when we see him standing in the window, they used the computer to put his face on the body double.

@AncientHistoryBuff I believe that was the body double with Lee's face added digitally. When he was killed, they hadn't filmed his death scene yet, so that had to be altered. There are numerous parts in the movie when you don't see his face, such as when's he running on the rooftops and he comes back to his apartment and has flashbacks and then puts on the makeup, etc. Those are the body double.

If you didn't know, when Draven returns to his apartment, from the exterior hallway, they took some unused footage of Lee walking outside with either a light rain or water falling, cut out just him and made it seem like he had been walking indoors.

@TexazTru Hello! The wig should probably be black, slightly wavy to your shoulders. The makeup is really easy! Get some hypoallergenic white face paint or white foundation, black lipstick & black eyeshadow & liner. The lipstick & eye makeup could probably get bought cheaper in the drugstore. The white foundation or paint is usually a specialty item so you may have to buy it online or at a halloween store. I would get waterproof eye make up so it wont smudge. Good luck! :)
