Thank you so much for this video. I was having a hell of a time - as a last resort turning to YouTube. I could not believe how good your tutorial was! Great camera work too.
Thanks - great video of taking the oven door off and putting it back on. We called a technician as our door would not shut properly at the top - but we didn't watch so we missed it. Talk about fast! The door only stayed sealed for about a week. It would be very helpful if you could show what jiggle room you have with these hinges or how to check that they are OK before I go and get unnecessary replacements or call back the service technician for another 2 minute job.
Thanks very much! I looked and looked and couldnt see how the f====er come off, gouged my hand and promised myself I would keep calm and think this through. Then this idea came, and thankfully delivered. Door is now nicely in place just in time for xmas. Have a good one to all
Awesome; I had to retrofit a natural gas oven to LPG and the nozzles and regulator were no problem until they told me to remove the oven door to replace the bake/broiler nozzle under the oven bottom (floor); I started taking off all the screws that held the door together but not on the oven; thanks for making my Thanksgiving Day a success. The Turkey got done!!!

Merci Beaucoup!! Thank you so much!! You made my day. I finally was able to clean the inside of our class oven door!! I am so happy and so grateful!! You rock!
A big thanks to you from the USA. Our landlady replaced our oven and removed the oven door...she spent 2 unsuccessful hours trying to reinstall the door. I came home and, within minutes, found your video. I easily replaced the door and am now a hero in my wife's eyes (and our landlady's). Keep up the good work. You're my hero!
I have a whirlpool door and the hinge looks like the pin type, except it has a flat pin at one side, so a key or anything else won't fit....what type of hinge is this? I can't get the door off.
Thanks for putting up this video. recently got quite into a struggle by re-attaching my oven door back on ( the pin-type , now I know ). I should ve watched your video first...that saved quite a heartache ( and my thumbs ). So easy if you know how, grumpfff
We have a Baumatic double electric and the handle to the bottom oven has been loose for a while. My wife decided to fiddle with it and now the inner glass, has come away from the front of the oven door.
The handle could not be tightened as the internal protection to the door, was preventing access to the back of the handle.
How do I remove the door, refit handle and then resecure the back glass, or whatever it's called
Excellent - thank you!! I was struggling to get the oven door off. Watched your video and had it off in 30 seconds. I have the type where you have to flip the latch down. Thanks a million!
Great Video but I have a De-Dietrich built in electric double oven model no FB 4827 E32 and have fitted new hinges to the top oven door but how do I manipulate the door to get the lower arms of the hinges to fit into their slots? Is there a video available? Any help or advice from other DIY people would be much appreciated.
Good video but does anyone know how to ADJUST the hinges on my 18 month old Indesit electric oven? The bottom of the door is too close to the oven when closed so the door never closes properly, there is a gap of about 5m at the top. No obvious adjusters.
Thank you very much for this post - you are a legend. I was able to remove my Neff oven door and take it to a qualified person for fixing. thanks again.
A spill on the back of my glass front had bothered me for years, and I would have lived with it forever if I hadn't found your simple instructions!! Will definitely look to you for parts if needed. Thanks!
This video was very helpful to me. while cleaning my oven which resembled to the 2nd oven shown in video i accidently locked it i wasnt aware of the locks till i saw the video while searching for help all over. i went back to oven placed the glass into the hinges n unlock the locks back to their place and Voilaa it worked for me :) thanks a lot again
Thanks so much for the tutorial, I pulled my door off again and last time it cost me tons to call out company to fix it. This time I was able to fix it myself with aid of your tutorial. Highly recommended.
Thanks so much for this. I was just about to remove the oven complete because I couldn't see any way of getting the door off. With this info, it was off in seconds!
LOL I just thought "oh great! I can finally remove my oven door to clean the over right", but the type of hinge that is on mine wasn't shown! Great video though lol I can now take the doors off of everyone's oven except my own!
Thanks
