Your Apollo organ restoration photos . . . fine composition as well as excellent overall quality.
Quite impressive restoration work. Do you have expectations for how long you will work on this Apollo?
I usually go out of my way to avoid displaying ignorance, but the Interlude you're playing on the Estey is lovely. I would relish seeing the music. Who is the composer, please? Not Edvard Grieg, but . . . ?
My first organ was a pump in my grandparents' farmhouse.
@sesanner Thankyou very much! Im away for 8 months of the year for university and the photos show what I managed to get done in just under two months, so fingers crossed next time Im home I might be able to get some sound
The music comes from a lovely book that our local church was throwing away. Next time Im back home I could send you a copy -the copyright should have expired. It`s by Percy E Fletcher
Do you have any pump organs at present? The Apollo was deemed unrestorable but Ill do my best
It was! Im not entirely sure when this Estey T was made, but it wasnt pre-electric, just not using it the blower is an added extra at a later date, you can just see it on the side
Ive started rebuilding an Apollo organ, it had been left out in the wet and every board was quite literally split into three or more pieces
If you are interested to see my work on the Apollo you can find many photos on my flickr account, I cant post the link here so I will add it to the video description
Beautiful!

Is that an electric blower heard in the first 5 seconds? Was this instrument made circa pre-electric technology?
Do you rebuild organs? I play but neither rebuild or nor repair. Nor tune, for that matter.
Love the reeds.
