Now, the engine on #3589 does not have issues, it not runs a lot smoother in fact, I saw it just the other day in Jersey City on the 125 to Journal Square.
I miss driving those flex B's they all have Neoplans Metro D's and Novas now in my Depot .I miss reving those Allison Trannys when I started them up in the mornings LOL
This Flxible does not operate the 6V92TA powerplant because this fleet operates with 6L71 or the original 6V71 powerplant and the sound of the 6V71 and 6L71 is the same.
Man, U don't know jack about engines. NJT'S Flxible Metro B's all have the 6v92TA Engine to a Allison V731 Trans. The reason it sounds like that is cause of a Cat Conveter and the exhaust is muffled. The bus moves great
lol lol nashville had buses like that too but those buses had the other engines which i like alot better in them!!! but the funny part about that whole thing my aunt drives for the transit company in tn and shye drove those buses that fast but i love them!!! where can i hear the other ones at?????
This bus has some serious engines issues!!! I love it!!! What's weird, this bus was on the NJ123 route going through Union City! Yeah! Good stuff! This is definitely one of my favorite bus videos!

This also brings back memories when MARTA had these. I remember hearing Flxibles down in Tampa, FL that sound like this as well
