Haha my friends and i always go down to the Don to use their pools and go up and down from the beach to the pool:) Their food is amazing also-3 I love the Don cesar!!!-3
We visited this place every Jan. and Feb. for about 5 yrs. straight right after our retirement. It was a wonderful place to be. My husband and I had plastic rafts which we floated on in the Gulf. I will forever cherish these memories. He would so enjoy watching this. I miss him terribly. He passed away before You Tube came into being. Thanks for showing this.
I lived in St. Petersburg in the 70's. It was the BEST place I ever lived. I lived aboard a Houseboat in the Marina downtown. It was the BEST experience of my life. Would love to do it again!
I used to go there and metal detect in the water. I no longer go in the water due to the Corexit 9500 that BP dumped into the water. I will never go into the gulf water ever again. It is poison. People are getting sick due to the hydrogen sulfide gas being released from the oil and Corexit.
I Love St. Pete I live there and Everyday I go down to the seaside dock to buy a corndog, but today...It fell in the water. I hope it doesn't attract any dork fish.
There is a new auction site coming out soon that is like Red Box only for online auction. It's called EZREDBIDS com. List cost are never more than $.99 and no matter how big the item is, no commission on sales. Just 99 cents to list say a car and 3% seller pays to paypal when it sells! Beats Ebay!
This will launch mid-September and will be published all over the web!

im from ny and btw its hella cold up here..i wish i was tanning every day and not pale, and it get boring staying inside alll the time cause it s freezing all winter..nyc kool but that gets old when u live here
minor hurricanes do damage along our beaches but not too bad. but major hurricanes... in 1921 St Pete was hit directly and Treasure Island was cut in half, John's Pass is still there to this day.
its okay to visit but at night there are alot of drunkin retards that live their shit is just too expensive i looked at a apt. there that wasnt even near the beach and it wouldve costed me 900 dollars a month and it wasnt even that great it wouldve been like living in a breadbox. i work on the beach and live in gulfport trust me gulfport is an art community and the beach is smaller but its not as crowded with peeps, theres also a great family bar that overlooks the beach called o'maddys.
also the fireworks show is lot more beautiful cause its closer, that bar has great bartenders who arent anus holes, and there food is incredible and not overpriced, the beach isnt that majestic but theres a few art gllerys full of beautiful art that would inspire a person that would love to draw, im gonna make and post a video of gulfport beachside the art gallery i love most is gonna be in the video i cant think of the artist but ill see when i do the vid, trust me youll love it.
I LOVE this beach, used to stay on Pass a Grille on Island's end, hope to return

Indianapolis blows, and most Tampa Bay hotels don't allow you to check in unless you're at least age 21. :-)

Just think. A direct hit by even a minor hurricane will wipe all that out. The clock is ticking.

I thought John's Pass was created in the 1848 Tarpon Springs hurricane.
