I love pink floyd. I worship at their altar. My favorite band. Almost everything they do I've listened to constantly for 30 years. Almost. I think this song is a piece of shit. The opening half is just childish noisemaking, yeah, I said it. Gilmour's singing is as good as he ever did, but that's not saying all that much. Pink floyd's biggest weakness was always vocals. @BigBrauner Not an angry comment at all but I always thought Gilmour and Wright were a perfect combination on vocals, especially after watching the Pompeii documentary and seeing how similar and nice their voices are when harmonized. As for the noise making well for all we know they just dropped a sugar cube of LSD and wanted to have some fun, either way it was more for theatrics. Oh and Wright, on that synth creates sounds you would transcend to heaven to in this track.
