For that you will need a VERY powerful laser. Probably i would say at least 5W+ (Even that would take you 5mins to cut it) and they cost loadsssss of money.

Many scams are very popular on sites like Amazon and Ebay, instead i would advise buying from Chinese wholesalers such as DealExtreme and specialist laser websites that are trusted.

If you want a cheap laser to burn stuff then i would highly recommend a 200mw laser. Probably red but blue works as well. Green doesn't burn as well but looks the brightest as our eyes are 50x more sensitive to green and blue and red.
