I went to USC back in the 70's and surfed the Wedge years ago I still surf and boogeyboard here on the east coast At age 57.
The thing I remember about the wedge was that the waves were very strong and they usually broke near the shoreline and those waves just closed up on you.

@goalscr12 Thanks! I first moved to the peninsula in the 70's for school and surfing. Never moved away!
