Sorry but forgot to mention, the Japanese Version names this stage as 'Drop Dead' (source: Capcom Rockman X8 Official Website) while the USA version names this stage as 'Inferno" based on the fact that it takes place in a Maverick Recycling Centre situated right inside a volcano. It's the only stage in this game where the Japanese Stage name is different from the USA version.
About the loading time, it depends on your computer system. A dual-core system would take less than 20 seconds to load a single stage (my old laptop running a Pentium M with a 128MB Graphic Card will also take around that time), my current one (an Core i7 with a 2GB Graphic Card) takes less than 15 seconds even for the Sigma Palace Stage.
@TsurugiMatsuda that explains a lot tbh, it took my computer well over a minute to load any of the levels, then again I was on a craptastic single core that I'm surprised could even run X8 anyway. XD
@WhitemageSerenia Just take note that DO NOT EVER run this game in a computer without a dedicated graphics card, or the loading time can take almost forever. As such, my old Pentium M single core can load a Maverick Boss stage (8 Bosses) in about 8 seconds from end of intro music to stage start, but my current one can load the same stage (from end of music intro to stage start) in 3 seconds flat, loaded in 1024x768x32 Window Mode!
u suck at this game... y make a wlkthru if u cant even be good at it? u shoulda picked zero not axel the double jump wrks bttr thn axels hover i had the ps2 version no difference but still ur kinda weak at this game how u let avalanche yetti hit u so many times r u doin it on purpose
@trustjab Its not about whose better or worse at the game, why make a comment if you cannot grasp the simple answer that I'm maybe doing this for FUN? Wise up. Its not about Perfection, its about FUN, always has been, always will be.
I always enjoy your play through/commentary bud, Give you a laugh, you explain things in great detail always helpful, and you show how to pwn shit, well MOST of the time :) lol

I don't think so, i have already beat the game on normal and hard i only need two rare matals to get it 100% but all the other megamans Exept for X5 i can't beat the final stage :(
You've seen nothing. I actually put myself through the pain of doing this on Hard, with no armor for X, and no weaknesses. The final stage had me going back to the lab 10-15 times.
You know.. Dr Wily could have saved a lot of hassle if he just built a robot named Spike Man. Spikes seem to be the bane of all those robots' existence.
Hey, Whitemage, I found that you don't actually need X to melt that ice from the last episode. Zero's Tenshouha (or however it's spelled) laser move will melt it just as well, so that's something to keep in mind.
how much is the mega man x 8 game

You weren't kidding when you said this game was HARD! The floating sideways thing looks funny, sort of like Trinity in "The Matrix".

hehe yeah... and this is just on Normal lol. Its definently one of the harder megaman x games I've played.

yeah, you're absolutely right! he did try to make one (Needle Man) but i guess he wasn't spiky enough...
i do remember a spoof of megaman with a Spike-wall Man, search for "Megaman - Dr. Wily Fails at Life"

I found Zero's Juuhazan can also destroy heavy shields that are otherwise resistant to other shield breaker techniques.

...this place is great for farming your materia...erm-metals...you can get between 10-1000 rupie-um-metals.. Too much FF7 and Zelda, Serenia?

And then Zero collects X's armor part, right?
xnamkcor 3 years ago
Yes. I think it'd work the same with Axl as well, but I haven't tried that myself. Zero works for sure.
ZeroAscension 3 years ago
wrong, there's no security block like in MMX5 and MMX6. You need X to get the armor parts.
