Thank you for taking the time to comment. However, after making this video I think I improved the style and content in later efforts so that your suggestions are moot. I certainly wouldn't make another Starcraft one, if I make more. As for what I should or should not do, the box ripped as it fell apart--not based on anything I did. The only thing I should have done was exactly what I did--reported it. Thanks again.
Quibbles- Some more details would have been better and some actual video rather than a slide show of photos, I wouldn't recommend that you make another youtube video, especially a Starcraft one.
Also I can not believe you ripped the box, you should take care of things better.
@karadan I think as long as people get the idea of the game then, cool. I've played a couple times since this was shot and my grasp of the game has improved. However, this is a very rules heavy game so I don't think many people that don't know the game will mind. Thanks for taking the time to have your comments flagged as spam.
And one yet: all faction start with combat card with hand limit, so he can choose card from hand to each skirmish. Very complex game, but after 2-3 game will be easy.
And when make a regoup phase: 1. destroy bases. 2: destroy transporters, 3: a) lost resources card (and workers on it), b) gain resources card, 4: return workers to avaliable workers field, 5 gain conquest point, 6: check normal victory, 7: check special victory, 8: show event cards, 9: return combat cards to handlimit (terran faction: 8, another 6), 10: give first player token to next player.
Guys, he played very bad: Build order has got 3 point that you can make step by step! 1: build UNITS. 2: build one facility and/or one module. 3: Build base. So when he built a stargate, he can't build wraith unit, only next turn, when he again use a build order.
what do you mean by "thin box"?and there are no Y-axis routes.there are only Z-axis.im gonna buy this as soon as i can from my game store but nice overview.good job kiddo. ;)
By "thin box" I mean that the box is really very thin for its size. The cardboard isn't very heavy duty and without the lid I wouldn't carry the box--full of components--with only one hand. Mine has sustained a rip already. Easily remidied, and I've since reinforced the corners.
Love this game, but your music is crappy and annoying. Why not play starcraft music, or better yet narrate your overview. I don't want to sound mean btw. And I can tell you have a good taste of board games :)
@Dillosaur No problems; no offense taken! Thank you for taking the time to comment!
I've since given up the music, so future reviews won't have them. I didn't use starcraft music because that'd be a copyright infringement. I thought about narration, but when I ran tests I sounded like a windbag. Trying to think of a way to fill in the blank, though. Star Craft is definitely one of the good games!

You need read better the rules.
A player may not, however, transport units from the active planet to another planet(pag23)
Build have 3 steps in a specifical order. U cant build a base and then make buildings, modules or units. (pag 21)
Units are Step 1
Buildings Step 2
Base Step 3
You cant make 2 buildings with a single build order. Only 1 building and/or 1 module by build order. (pag 21) If not Zerg are OP :D
All players have 6 initial combat cards, and terran 8 cards (pag 8)
