Wow. I watch so little TV other than CNN and ESPN that shows like these go completely over my head. Before Today on Hulu I had never heard of this show. I want to watch it but don't want a cliffhanger ending. Looks like a good show too. Too bad it was canceled.

Happy Town was amazing in its setting, plot, suspense and characters. I've never enjoyed a tv series this much since Twin Peaks. I couldn't believe most people didn't like this show.

i'm also a die-hard twin peaks fan (one of the reasons i wanted to work on this show) but i've got to say - H-town really isn't that much like Twin Peaks; that comparison is pretty much made for promotion. it's def.the same genre tho- i do also have to say, that HT was honestly one of the best shows i've ever worked on. never been more completely gripped by/invested in characters or storylines on anything else i've done.

i've heard a lot of comparisons between this show and harper's island; i've never seen harper's so i can't say whether they're similar or not, but i worked on the crew for happy town, and i think it would be good to know that the creators/exec.producers/co-wri­ters of the show hadn't heard of harper's island until around the 5th episode was being shot - another crew member compared the 2). that's not to say the two shows won't be similar, but HT is definitely not influenced directly by harpers.

Just saw an interview with the producers and they are promising most questions will be answered immediately since they have learned that audiences have no patience in weekly television cause sometimes u miss an episode or two and get lost in the story--we shall see!!
