Buying the Airfield is the mission 'Verdant Meadows' - shortly after you open up the desert portion of the map. After that I got stuck on that Flying School level for 2 fucking weeks! Hard as!

if u go in the red train tunnel in san fierro there is an opening and a gas station right below. as long as u stay hidden every once in a while they can't kill you. the helicopters 4 some reason can't send guys down and the tanks can't hurt u at all. if u have a shitload of ammo, u will have a shitload of fun wastin everyone
