  • No se me olvidará en la vida... Y, todo, gracias a ti. ERForever.

  • WAUUUUUUUUUUUUU ... QUE VOZZZZZZ..

    ESPECTACULARRRRR .SUPERRRRR BRAVOOOOOO ♫ ♫ ..!!!!

    MARAVILLOSAMENTE CELESTIAL !!!!

    GRAZIEEEEEEEEEE MILLONESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!

    EL PIBE !!!

  • 7 people were shot by Tuco.

  • Can we ever have such great westerns again? And the music was mind blowing! Mr Morricone where ever you are! Thank you!

  • @Nocturnehunt no...accelerando etc. That is part of the musicality

  • When I heard this for the first time, the first thing I thought was EPIC.

Who dislikes something like this?? This is a BRILLIANT piece, and is just EPIC. That's the best word for it.

  • Hmmm...

Does this seem....I don't know, rushed, I guess you could say, to anyone else?

  • 7 idiots ?

  • @TheAurel9z makes 8 because of this useless shit without ANY sense you wrote there....

  • There is another video of him perfroming this, with the same singer, and there is no glass barrier. Somethingmust have happened to cause him - or the concert promoters, to use one on this occasion.

  • My how beautiful that woman's voice is. I searched to see if this man still tours, it said there were no future concert dates set. Shame.

  • @rabidpensfan

In May Ennio Morricone performed in Korea and just a few days ago in Chile.

On July 13th & 14th he will perform in Prague according to this website :-)

    enniomorricone [dot] it/uk/next-concerts [dot] php

    Too bad I can't be there =/

  • I'd like to lay her down and make her howl like that--nice!

  • her voice is amazing :)

  • sopranno susanna sends chills to me bravo bravo

  • spectacular, though not my preferred tempo.

  • Great OMorricone...Great Susannna....

  • Boy, were they in a hurry with this rendition, probably part of a mission impossible plot

  • Ennio Morricone y Susanna Rigacci....Bravo, Maestro Morricone!!! Besos y Abrazos de Mexico!!

  • CRACKWOOD THE MOVIE was inspired by this.

  • This song is epic no matter the performing speed. After all it will last FOREVER. I am sure people will be hearing this even when humanity will be far away from earth

  • That is way too fast.

  • FANTASTIC

  • this is the best version

  • God I whish I was there !!!!!

  • I think that protection is there so ENNIO is able to hear the orchestra clearly and not only the singer, whom has an extremely powerfull voice

  • @BakusPT whats he going to do? stop the song and beat someone with his little wand? very distracting and unnecessary, that glass

  • @SCfancritic that would be funny... but do you have a better idea for the glass to be there? is he the pope in an Ennio suit? someone in the audience trying to kill him? i believe the glass is there so he can direct the orchestra fully concentrated...

  • fantastico!!!

  • Excellent! But what's Ennio doing behind glass, are they worried about a sniper in the audience or something?

  • grandissimo!!!

  • Morricone is a very accomplished composer AND conductor.

    Peace to all,

    Benny

  • wish this is the yo yo ma version

  • Too fast!

    imo

  • I dont understand the point of the sticks for composers. The musicians have the notes in front of them? An old tradition?

  • @woweda ....the musicians don't have control over the pace of the piece....nor it's dynamics....the "conductor" does. That's why he uses them....it's FAR more important than it looks. It's easy for four guys in a rock band to stay together...not so easy to keep an 80 piece orchestra together :)

  • @woweda imagine a nation without president

  • i like her posture. mindboggling sexy!

  • I think the soprano is Suzanne Rigacci its all in the body language

  • fuck that women has a set of lungs on her lol.. i think i would puked mine up if i tried that.

  • insipiring including the soprano

  • I personally love Ennio's original, but you can't argue with Metallica's 4.5 million views, numbers don't lie, even "killing" a song doesn't matter anymore, Metallica pulled it off period...............

  • EDDA D'ORSO sang better in the original song.

  • @mianmitthu

The sound quality of this video is poor and so disguises what an amazing singer this singer really is. A video of another concert had much better sound and her Ecstasy of Gold sent chills up and down mine spine. Unfortunately the video is no longer on Youtube.

  • @GuitarSpeller Actually there is one. Let me get the link.

    Here is is.

    watch?v=IE8YOvuhIcQ&feature=related

    No it's not spam!

  • Suzanne the saprano, I definately would

  • i luv version with Metallica.

But I think is so good without too !>

  • I've listened to the other videos where I can positively identify Susanna Rigacci several times and the more I do the more I don't think this is her. Can anyone positively identify the soprano here and tell me if/where this concert is recorded on an audio format?

  • @kenwig0556 I think it is Susanna in this vidoe but I know what you mean. I have a great cd of Morricone conducting Munich Radio Orchestra in 2004 (Visual dvd) and Susanna is wearing that same dress. Also, she is the only soprano I know that snaps that last note at the end. In my dvd her hair is jet black. Going to see Morricone at Royal Albert Hall on April 10th - I`ll see if she is the soprano. Cheers

  • Thanks for the info. It just seems that the voice, if not the lady herself, in this piece is more robust than in the other (known) Susanna Rigacci performances? I will be interested to hear your review from Royal Albert Hall.

  • @kenwig0556 I have a spare copy (100% clarity) of the concert in Munich 2004 and its brilliant . Hour and half long and I guarentee you will watch it many times. If you want it you can have it for nowt and I'll post it to you. Cheers

  • @freigther Thank you very much! I'll send you my address.

  • For some reason I started to choke up and eyes water when she started singing. This is amazing music.

  • @prux I did at 1:25. Pure beauty!

  • Is that a bullet proof shield Ennio Morricone is standing behind? Why is the shield there?

The singer is great. I really like this music.

  • would love to be there and here it live

  • Gosh that girl has a fine pair of lungs!!

  • Lady in red aint half bad!

  • A KIORAS SALE METALLICA

  • bravo SUSANA RIGACCI

  • A genius......Love you Ennio!!!!

  • fantastic

  • wow

  • the glass box?

  • its so that he doesnt here an echo

  • who is this woman?

  • This is pro'lly Susanna Rigacci.

  • Magico Morricone...orgoglio del mondo

  • I hold my breath to listen & enjoy !

    Such a terrific voice !!!

  • somebody knows the name of the woman who sing plz ? thanks

  • susanna rigacci

  • Can't seem to post URL links to the two other vids, but here's your funeral pieces.Listen to the lyrics; guaranteed to make your eyes leak...search on -

    Dante's Prayer (1st one, 5:51)

Old And Wise (4th one, 5:20)

This APP song (last track on EITS cd) has different vocalist and sax soloist, but both are faithful to the original.

  • me 2, i want this at my funeral

  • i have tears in the eye by this vocals!

  • Ennio Morricone is a legend!

  • @stage4turbo ennio morricone is not a man or a legend. He is a god!!!

  • The conductor (Morricone) isn't afraid someone would throw stuff at him. If that happened, Tuco would rush out from behind a curtain and shoot the thrower.

    LOL.

  • That's actually for the sound to bounce directly to his ear and to reduce echo.

  • If somebody does so to Morricone, it will be the rest of the public that `ll kill the thrower...

  • When you gotta shoot, shoot! Don't talk!

    -- Tuco

    ;-D

  • @benniebenbenny Morricone was the composer, not the conductor, unless he conducts his own work(which is very rare).

  • @benniebenbenny Ha ha!!! I thought he was in the pope mobile!!!

  • @daledaddy1 :)

  • @benniebenbenny If Tuco wants to shoot, he'll shoot. Even in a bathtub

  • Can anyone tell me who is the Soprano? She has a magnificent voice; is it Sarah Brightman!!?

  • nope, it is Susanna Rigacci

  • Thank you, Mr. Floppy! I thnk she's brilliant!

  • This one is pretty close to the movie but the tempo is to fast.

  • Agreed, we'd have to blame that on the conductor (who doesn't appear to be Ennio). This soprano is better than Susanna Rigacci who is in a lot of these other YouTube clips with Ennio. Still, the original score for the movie is much better and the original soprano hits it much better.

  • This song makes the hair on the back of my neck stand.

  • Why is the conductor in a box? Is he afraid people will throw stuff at him?

  • I do not think so, he is Ennio Morricone

  • you are funny!

  • A stupid guess but maybe it is so he can hear the orchestra better and not be distracted by the audience applause and talking....and possibly stuff getting thrown at him lol

  • What a dynamic voice.

  • This is without a doubt the greatest western theme ever created. Not only did it make the movie "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" famous, but it captures and signifies the very essence of the "old west." Truly a masterpiece!

  • Saludos Keñaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

  • enio eres grande!!!!

  • waw

  • is he standing in a bulletproof glass booth ? :O :P

  • thats just freaky

  • I thisnk it just plastic glass... Because the sound. He have to hear every instrument.

  • por que esta desntro de una caja ?¿

  • THESE PEOPLE HAVE TALENT LIKE CRAZY. THE MASTER COMPOSER---THE SONGBIRD LADY---THE ORCHESTRA---THIS IS DAMN SURE SOMETHING TO BOW DOWN TO!!!!! But don't forget about Eastwood, Van Cleef and Wallach either.

  • What a voice :o

  • canta come una cana !

  • It's faster than original..

  • ABSOLUTE MASTER PIECE i would have paid any money to see that concert, Ennio Morricone is a composing legend, will he ever perform in england?

  • i think that's because of the sound. This video is made be a camara from the the public. It's not a profesional video and no profesional equipment.

  • Soberbio, maravilloso, espectacular, grandioso, magistral...

  • You dig.
