get normal quicktime, go to registration, type Apple Retail in the first column, nothing in the optional, and then

in the last one.

thats what you need to do, the DMG part is not relevant.

GUYS it does work just done it just ignore the part before the restart okay and just use the reg code in the registation in quicktime menu!! thanks a lot, still sucks that quick time pro cant play avi lol
